The facemask does its job, took a few shots to the head and face and stayed fully protected without aggrivating my injury, can slip when bumped or in the middle of traffic so make sure to keep it tight. Also can lead to a light headache when getting accustomed to it through both the tightness on your head and the issues with focus in how it can slightly blur your center of focus when first wearing it. Your peripherals also take a bit of a hit when it comes to above your head and below your line of sight. Besides that the mask works great and once you get used to it, it doesn't bother you at all. Broke my nose in Basketball... not my first time, so I’ve worn masks before and this is what you should expect. Yes you will get hot... yes it is a little hard to see in certain spots, yes you’ll look stupid... but does a great job protecting your broken nose if you want to get back out playing before the doctor tells you it’s safe.

Perfect for what I needed it for. My 10yr old son broke his nose the 1st week of sports camp. If I didn't get him something to protect himself he wouldn't be able to go to camp at all. This was inexpensive....it is hard hard plastic so it is very durable. At first looking through it makes you feel cross eyed but I was throwing balls to my son to see if it disrupted his vision, making him do things etc. If u concentrate on the plastic down the middle yes you will feel cross eyed. Once you are concentrating on what you are doing whether it be sports etc and your looking ahead at what you are focusing on it works fine.

I bought this mask for my son. He had a broken nose, and I was very concerned that it would get re-injured when he was playing basketball, so I told him he could wear it or not play. The nose guard offered superior protection, there was no further injury to his nose while he wore it. He did have me remove the padding from the lower half of it, because it interfered with his vision.

Bought this for my 15 y.o. cheerleader daughter who got her nose broken by her flyer. She wore it until she was fully healed. She said that it was really tight on her face. She let me try it on (granted, my head is much larger than hers), and yeah, it kind of squeezes your face. So on the comfortability side, it isn't so great, but on the protective side, I wouldn't let her continue to cheer without it. She only put it on when she had to perform as base and took it off for regular cheers.

I bought this to protect my nose during basketball. I would give it one star specifically for playing basketball and for fit, but since this might work well for other sports, I decided to add an extra star. There are 2 main reasons why this product was terrible for me:1. FIT: It's super tight and started to hurt my head after wearing it for 2 games. I don't have a large head (cap size is 7 1/8 to 7 1/4) but even after putting this to the largest setting, it was still waaaaay too tight. This might work well for youth and people with tiny heads, but if you're an adult with even a smaller than average head, stay away. This will feel like a vise grip on your head.2. VISION: You simply cannot see below your cheek when you're wearing this, mostly due to the black foam that rests on your cheeks. There is ZERO peripheral vision below, which is important for basketball. I found that I couldn't dribble well because I couldn't see the ball at all if I was looking up, couldn't see where I was on the court without looking down (especially important for the 3 pt line), and had trouble with passes at waist level or below. For some sports, this might not be a problem (volleyball comes to mind) but this was a deal breaker for basketball.In summary, if you're getting this for a child and for some sports that don't require you to have peripheral vision below your neck, then I think it's a good product. For adults playing any sport that needs you to look ahead while still keeping track of what's going on below, don't get this.

Purchased this for my son to wear during volleyball season after his nose was broken. It gave him protection and confidence and was well worth the price. If you are like us and can't afford a custom mask (and need something quickly), this is a great alternative. It was not uncomfortable. We took some other reviewers advice and shaved down the area next to the eyes so the plastic didn't interfere with his vision.

My 13 yr old son's nose was broken in a soccer match so we bought this product so he could play with protection while his nose healed.It was a waste of money. It's bulky and it disrupts all peripheral vision. When looking anyway but straight ahead you get a headache from peering through the plastic. It's like wearing someone's prescription glasses. Impossible to use in soccer since you must look up, down and to your side on a constant basis.

Good Nose protection , that straps are good quality they are adjustable ,overal quite please with the purchase..lets see if it last's

I bought this Nose Guard as I had broken my nose playing football. I was therefore buying this so that I could continue playing whilst also protecting my nose. My vision was obscured by the plastic and eventually I had to take it off and play without it. Overall it is a good product to protect your nose but don't be suprised if you can't see much as the centre plastic covers your eyes.

The mask was very light, but seemed toomsmall and obstructed vision significantly.

It works, but it takes a few wears to work out the best positioning. I think a lot depends on which part of the nose you need to be protected and/or which angle a ball or knock might come from.I played football (soccer) with this on; only got one comment from an opposition player ("Someone mark Darth Vader") thanks to this sort of thing being normalised by Fabregas, Torres, Costa in recent seasons.The sweatier your face gets, the more likely it is that it will slide a bit, but if you have the elastic at the right tension and length, it's fine to just readjust at the next break in play.At the price here, I'd recommend it.
