Bluetooth Car Kit

Incomplete functioning for the price
I think the hardware that comes with it is worth more than the video screen. The video interface looks like something out of a 1970's video game. It does seem to work as advertized for *most* of what I wanted, although my biggest gripe is that if you go out of range without turning the power off, when you come back it will not reconnect with your phone; You have to turn the device off, most easily by pulling it out of the cigarette lighter, and then turning it back on again. So, stop at the gas station to use the restroom, turn it off and on again. This seems to be the case for most US brand cars where lighter power stays on after key shutoff. This will also be true if you use it at home with a lighter to wall adapter; You will have to turn it off and on every time you come home at the lighter or the surge protector you plug the adapter into. I tried unplugging it between the video screen and the speaker once and, oddly enough, this did not make it reconnect. I had to unplug the lighter and plug it back in. If you have a foreign model car, it will probably shut off at the lighter automatically when you turn off the car, making reconnection on starting the car possible...of course then you can't use it with the car turned off. I don't know how it works with it wired to the radio or or fuse box. Also, I hope voice dialing works well because it is just too cumbersome to have to scroll and tap through each individual number.
