Great bed alarm
Works great. Saves me a lot of anxiety. Now I know if my 90 year old father is getting out of bed!

Lifesaver! Love it!
This has been a lifesaver. My special needs daughter does not realize she has balance issues and gets up to go to the bathroom on her own. I put this monitor under her sheets in the shoulder area. It works great! I love the chime sound and that I can adjust the volume as well as take the alarm in different areas of the house with me so I can turn it off immediately. Well worth the money! No more falls, no more broken bones so far!

A Life Saver
Literally, a life saver. This device has been so pivotal in the care of my father who has dementia. It is sensitive enough to pick up his movement, even when heโs fidgeting and uncomfortable but just doesnโt know how to call for help. It has also saved us more times than none in the attempts that heโs had to get out of the bed for whatever reason. The only thing is remembering to turn it back on! Otherwise, itโs been wonderful. Works very well. If thereโs one thing Iโm most thankful for in this season, itโs this device!

apparently working ok
Takes trial and error to work correctly. Must be placed on bed in correct location to work correctly. A littleexpensive but you get what you pay for. Not real pleased with transmitter pad that only good for one yearand then needs to be replaced because of long term battery. It has a off/on switch on the receiver which isgood, don't have to listen to alarm when person is not in the bed. Have not had it long enough to know howlong c-batteries last in receiver but ordered an adapter to prevent purchasing batteries. Alarm is a pleasent chirp which can be ajusted.

Peace of mind
What a great product! Bought this so that I can hear Mom when she gets out of bed. Set up was fast. I am not sure if there was something wrong with my C batteries but I did have to plug it in for it to work. So, be sure to by the adaptor too. I set the bell to medium and it wakes me up. There is a bit of a delay but I get to Mom before she crosses threshold of her bedroom doorway. The bell sounds like a doorbell ringing and isn't annoying. Best of all Mom does not hear the bell and thinks I just don't sleep. Ha! Would definitely recommend and buy replacement pad in a year!

Helped to keep my grandma safe
This bed alarm worked perfectly to alert us when my grandmother would try to get up during the night. Because we were able to respond quickly she had no falls overnight before she passed. We did discover that there were less false alarms when we placed the alarm under her lower back/hip area. There are two alarm sound levels depending on how lightly you sleep so it is worth testing what alarm level you need before actually using this with your loved one. The alarm even worked downstairs so we could go have breakfast before she got up for the day and not worry the entire time (before the alarm we had to run upstairs every time we heard any small sound).

A sleep saver!!
This has been a treasure for me!! I take care of my 90 year old grandmother with dementia. She gets up several times in the night. Before we tried a different product that was unreliable and batteries died about every other month. I also tried a baby monitor but had to keep on all night to listen for her to get up. The bed alarm is a God send! It has a LOUD ringer I can turn on when I'm up and bustling around the house and she sleeps. The ticking in "off" mode is enough to wake me up (I'm a fairly light sleeper) but not so bothersome it keeps either me or my husband up. He is a heavier sleeper and doesn't wake to the ticking. I feel there are some times it goes off when she's just turning in bed, but I'll take it to not going off when she's up and into who knows what any day. As far as price, we've had it at several months now, maybe more than 6. The battery still works and if I have to replace the whole thing, I'd say I got my money & sleep's worth so I'm very happy with it!

Dead irreplaceable battery
I've had two of these for awhile and replaced the C batteries in the alarm occasionally. Then one day no sound from my father getting up. Guess what - the sender that is attached to the bed pad was dead. OK - no problem I will find that replacement part and all will be good. WRONG! When you call these people up they tell you that once that sensor battery goes dead - your only recourse is to buy the whole unit again. Are you kidding me? I'm on a fixed income taking care of both my parents and I'm just supposed to throw this whole contraption out and buy a new. Isn't this the definition of planned obsolesce. Sham on you Smart Care people for such a contrivance.
