Positives: Plays MOST of the following well: GBA, GBC, GB, NES, SNES, SMS, GENESIS, GG, Atari, ColecoVision, C64, TG16 as well as other games like Cave Story, Quake, Doom etc.. Expect 45FPS from most SNES and Genesis games. Small form factor (about the size of a GBA SP). The buttons have a nice feel and are properly responsive. The screen is crisp and clear.Negatives: The screen bezel is plastic and scratches easily. It has a PS1 emulator installed but don't bother. This has trouble with SNES games that featured the FX chip. I actually expected this but it's an unfortunate thing because those games are great. Save states are a little annoying: create your save state and then exit the emulator before powering the device off. Failure to do so will result in no save.Comparison: I have a number of devices like this: Odroid Go, ClockworkPi Gameshell.... I recommend the LDK over both of those. It outclasses the Odriod Go in every way for only a few more dollars. ClockworkPi's Gameshell is more powerful but the software just is there yet as the Gameshell suffers from screen tearing and the device can be a little difficult to set up if you're not familiar with coding and/or SFTP. The Gameshell is significantly more expensive as well.All told, get the LDK. It's a good time.
