Salt Grinder: Thumb Push Pump and Grind Salt Mills by Alpha Armour, Seasoning and Spice Tools, Stainless Steel

For the basic design this is a good unit. Sadly there are some major defects in the manufacturing of the one I got. In my case the grinder arm is a couple mm too long causing the action to bind at the top. The cap is also not threaded deeply enough to keep it attached for more than a few uses. Might be just a defect in the one I got , but with having failure on the acrylic for the pepper grinder I got as well, I am leaning to just low quality manufacturing.

Cheap internal parts.Way too fine of a grind and no adjustments.Won't stay together.At first the quality seemed good, machined out of solid stainless steel, but after less than a week it started falling apart (the push button keeps unscrewing itself and then the button can not be pressed), and the clear plastic is cracked.

I purchased this product to replace a similar product that, after 11 years of faithful service, had broken. Sadly this product broke within 2 weeks of purchase. Obviously a poor knock-off of the original.Very disappointing

I have had this for several months and it is pretty annoying. The amount of salt per push is minuscule, and I salt things very lightly. The puch mechanism is very hard to work, gets stuck on the crystals so I have to bang on it really hard with something to get any salt. Enough said.

I would not recommend this salt grinder. It is hard to fill and the plunger that you use to grind the salt doesn't stay centered so you have to keep wiggling it around before it will despense the ground salt.

Product seems built well enough, so maybe the type of salt (a grey seasalt) that I am using is the problem. Hardly anything comes out. So if you're on a salt restrictive diet, this is the grinder for you.

Love these salt & pepper grinders. Small footprint but works mighty well! And the stainless steel makes them very attractive. I'm very pleased with my purchase. Thank you

It works, barely. If I hold it in the right spot and press exactly straight it will grind a very small amount of salt dust. Sorry I bought it but it's too much trouble to return it.
