I love this book
As a life-long fan of the original movie and a believer that 2049 is as good (maybe better...?), I have totally fallen in love with this book. The artwork itself is beautiful and incredibly well presented, but it is the quotes from the artists that shed light on the inspirations, directions, process etc etc that really make this such an interesting book. Something I delight in picking up every now and then, picking a page at random and losing myself in for a few minutes.

A fantastic companion book to one of the best sequels ever made
After the fantastic 'Art and Soul' book Tanya Lapointe returns with another amazing collection of art work. The image quality here is fantastic and the book offers a vast collection of props, locations and characters. It also has many elements that evolved during production or were not used in the final film offering a fascinating glimpse into what could have been.I loved the Art and Soul book but I think this surpasses it in terms of the sheer amount of detail it has. A must own for fans of a film that I consider to be one of the finest sequels ever made. Highly recommended!

Stunning companion book to The Art and Soul of Blade Runner 2049.
Interlinked by Tanya La Pointe is the sister volume to The Art and Soul of Blade Runner 2049 by the director Denis Villeneuve and La Pointe. The two books compliment each other beautifully and if you're a fan of the film (as I am) then both are a must have.Like it's companion Interlinked is full of still photographs and concept art from the film's production, interspersed with comments and interview snapshots from the art department and assorted crew.A fascinating insight into a scifi masterpiece (like the original Blade Runner).

Excellent book!
An excellent-looking book - a visual treat for any fan of the movie. The only drawback for me is that I would like to have seen it cover not only the settings but also other aspects of the design work, such as costumes and make-up. (Unfortunately my copy arrived damaged and I have had to return it for a replacement, which is frustrating, especially after having to wait to receive it for literally a year and one day after I originally preordered it, but that is no reflection on the book itself.)

A gift for any Blade Runner fan.
The media could not be loaded. Beautifully detailed art from a perfect film that is Blade Runner 2049. Definitely a coffee table book for any film fanatic, creative or illustrator.

Not great but good
I was on the fence about buying this one, but after loving Art and Soul.. and watching some YouTube flick throughs, I decided to give it a go. I have to say that upon opening to the first couple of pages, I was a little disappointed in the image quality - quite pixellated or blurry. Having said that, it did improve a little to the point where I'd say the quality in images are about 70/30 in terms of good and not so good. The text is certainly a good read that fills in some of the processes and thoughts behind the designers ideas, so it works well from that point of view as there are no duplications in Art and Soul.As a result, I'd say this is an okay publication - not great, but certainly not terrible and is ultimately one for the completist. If you can get a used cheaper copy, then you should certainly buy it, that way you won't be overly disappointed.

What's not to like?
If you want an in depth insight into the art and design of Blade Runner 2049, then look no further. It does what it says on the tin, so to speak.Visually stunning throughout, it is definitely for any fan of the film and shows the development of ideas from a humble kernel to implementation. Some designs never made it, but this fascinating book shows everything in it's glory.Best buy 2020.MooseyMoose.

Excellent companion book to the art and soul book
Slightly smaller in format, this book is entirely devoted to concept art that was produced in deciding the look and feel of the film.Where the previous book details how the film was actually made, this book shows us a whole raft of conceptual images that answer different questions instead. It's a really worthy addition for those who already have the other book, I didn't spot anything which had been duplicated on first look.
