Excellent camera trigger, lots of modes and versatility.
I ordered the Triggertrap to use with my Canon 5d MkIII and Iphone 6s. Setup was simple, download the app plug the cable into the camera and the iphone and you are good to go. I have used the vibration, sound and long exposure modes extensively. The HDR mode was not as useful as I find in-camera bracketing in manual mode or even the 5dMkII's HDR mode easier and quicker. I love the sound trigger mode, and the ability to dial in the sensitivity of the trigger which prevents misfires.Previous to owning this trigger, I used the Canon RC6 and a couple of other wired cable releases from other companies. I find the Triggertrap setup my go-to tool over the others. I was on the fence about purchasing this product for a while but am very happy that I took the plunge.I am not affiliated with Triggertrap and did not revive this product for promotion.

Just stopped working after a couple weeks
It started off working really well. The only issue is you couldn't use your phone while shooting, and if you are going for a 15 second video of 30 fps at a 5 second shooting interval... Well you better bring a book or just know you will not be able to use your phone for 37.5 minutes. Then I realized that even in manual focus- manual mode and stabilizer turned off the camera didn't actually take a photo EVERY 5 seconds... But almost every 5 seconds, it just randomly didn't at times. And then... The reason for the 2 STARS is that it has completely stopped working. The app loads, plugged into camera... Yadda yadda, it doesn't trigger the camera to take pictures anymore- it just runs the timer for you so you can sit there for 37.5 minutes taking photos every 5 seconds manually.I should give it a one star... But I'm hoping their support staff can help me fix the problem.

I like it, and it helps a lot if shooting HDR. I don't like the volume of the phone has to be all the way up in order to use it. Also if you get any texts or anything distracting while shooting it will glitch your shots. Good product but room for improvement. I use it a lot. One of the better devices out there.

Tried only a few times. Sometimes crashes app. Misfires a few times. You have to keep an eye on it. I wouldn't leave unattended for long periods. Not sure if device or iphone. Would not use for any serious timelapses. Has some unique features which is why I gave it 3 stars. I'll stick with dedicated triggers.

Fantastic, but $40 is ridiculous.
I can't say that I'm happy paying anything more than $20 for a very simple cable, but at least they don't cheap out. The cable is well built and secure.

For some reason does not work with my Galaxy S5, but does with my S3. Could be the phone though - so not sure I can blame the device.

Good product
Works well, takes time to learn the app but once you understand it works great. The cord could be a bit longer as the curly cord is a little stif.

Works well as a triggering device. It would be very nice if it could display what the camera sees but that is outside its design criteria.
