The Broken Token Mini Dice Tower Kit - Wooden Dice Tower

Perfect, wish I had a reason to buy multiples
I bought this dice tower for my 6 &4 year old kids so they would stop stealing our bigger, nicer dice tower for their own games. I mean, I get it, rolling dice down a tower has a nice, satisfying feel to it, but sometimes Mom and Dad just don't want to share their playthings! The tower comes as a bunch of flat wood pieces you punch out and fit together. As others have said, the pieces are cut on the error of millimeters too big rather than too small, so fitting the pieces together can be difficult. I grabbed a cheap cardboard nail file and filed down the edges before snapping them together, and it worked fine, but just be prepared to spend an extra 5-10 minutes filing down the pieces to get a good fit.The whole thing is a little bigger than a standard 80-card deck box. I like that it can fold up when not being used. Dice sizes up to a standard d20 can be rolled through but my d24s and up won't fit as shown in one of my photos. Most people aren't constantly rolling those though, and my kids aren't (except for fun), so it's not a big deal for us.Also, this is way quieter than hardwood (which is what our expensive grown-up dice tower is made of). I can listen to dice rolling for half an hour straight without feeling like the clattering has shattered my eardrums into oblivion.I like it. I wish we had an excuse to buy more, quite honestly. Painting them different colors would be really fun.

Great portable dice tower
Your browser does not support HTML5 video. My wife is the party's cleric and she keeps rolling terribly. I'm hoping this improves her rolls so we don't all die xDPretty sturdy. Easy to assemble. Like others have said the joints are pretty tight fitting but if you use one of those cheapy nail files to sand the joints and the slots, and a hammer (GENTLY) you can put it together in 5 minutes no problem. Don't sand too much off so it stays assembled!Portable, rolls awesome and it's not too loud. You can roll several d20s or a whole 7 dice set at the same time no problem. Would also make a great DM gift.In case anyone is wondering, the brick pattern printed (laser engraved?) on the wood is really shallow, you almost can't feel it if you run your fingers on It, but if you assemble it backwards you can woodburn whatever you want on it. That's what we've done. It burns pretty good on a medium heat setting with a Versatool.

This little thing is just incredible
I just cannot get over how much I love The Broken Tokens products. I previously reviewed their custom insert for the board game Terraforming Mars and gave is a glowing review. Basically the same can be said for their mini Dice Tower. This little thing is just incredible. It comes unassembled and you really need to take care when putting it together as the pieces fit extremely snug so you don’t want to accidentally break a piece trying to put them together. A small xacto-knife works wonders here to trim the edge a little. However I successfully got all the pieces put together without doing that and took a rubber mallet to make sure the pieces were perfectly fit together. It won’t take you long to put this one together, took me about 15- 20 minutes and the instructions are crystal clear what parts go together.I love the smell of the wood on these products and the engravings on them to make it look like a little castle are perfect. I also love the sound the dice make when clanking down the tower to come out in the bottom tray, it’s very satisfying. Once you are done using the tower you can fold the tower portion up into the base tray and it becomes super portable (very portable already as small as it is). The thing stands close to 5 inches tall.Anyway I’ve tried rolling different kinds of dice down it and it rolls them all perfectly with nothing getting stuck or jammed up in it. Plus with the tray it sits in you don’t have to worry about an errant die flying off the table any longer! I honestly cannot think of a single downside to this great product. If you play a lot of games that include dice, this is a must purchase!UPDATE 7/25/18 -- So after many, many plays with this ( I literally use it every single time I play a game with dice) I have found that I don't use the base it comes with at all anymore. I've found that the lip is just a little too tall which makes it hard to see the dice depending on where you have it sat on the table. Plus it's kinda small so reaching in to grab dice is more difficult that I would like. However just using the tower is still amazing and works just fine like that.

Sehr gut. Etwas sperriger Zusammenbau, aber sehr stabil
1a Dicetower.
