Yeo's Malaysian Curry Powder, 1.76 Ounces

Three packets arrived quickly and intact! I used to be able to buy this locally, but it is harder to find in my area. Very happy Amazon is now an option when I feel like eating spicy curry.I use this spice mix when making chicken or beef curry and use coconut milk instead of regular milk. No other spice mix compares to this particular brand and has been a family favorite for years! Definitely recommend to those who like spicy flavorful ethnic curry!

I have been using this powder since I lived in Malaysia in the late 90s. Until the pandemic, it was available in most Asian markets. Recently I have not been able to find it. When I finally ran out I thought I'd try Amazon and to my greatest delight, it was available! Yesss!!!

Thought it was a bit pricy and skeptical about how good it will be. I just received this today and my husband used in his chicken batter and it turned out AMAZING. I love the very exotic and distinct taste & smells. We just love Malaysian food and since it's not really easy to find the cousine around here, I just wanted a hint of a Malaysian flavor on my table. However, I love it but hope I could get a larger amount of it!

My family wanted to it out. we used it for a Vietnamese dish, and it was good.

Hard to find this curry powder in the local Asian stores and we have a bunch of them. If you want really, really good curry powder try this one. And don't be afraid to use it liberally. As a friend who grew up with missionary parents in Borneo told me, "I you think you don't like curry powder, you're not using enough of it." I usually use 1/2 envelope or more in a batch of stir fry.
