I searched for "seven stone journal," and a number of options turned up. I chose this one because the pictures and layout of the product looked good, and I chose the higher priced book because sometimes you pay for what you get. Not in this case. Unless I received a different book than the 4/5 star reviewers, I would recommended NOT buying this. There's no way the stones are real. They seem like some kind of plastic. I asked the seller what stones they are, and they couldn't name them.The leather seems more like pleather too. Real leather strips are used as embellishments. Also, my book smells really bad...like chemicals. No way I can sit near this book and write in it unless I want to torture myself.One more thing is that in the product pictures, it shows a close up of the words "Pearl Leather" somewhere on the spine. Mine doesn't have that *anywhere.* I'm returning it.

I wish I could give this book more stars as it's beautiful, unique, and well made. My issue, is the paper. I bought this to document family history - my ball point pens are very light on this paper and the gel pens bleed through. I had to find another larger book similar to this one that had regular paper. I did keep this book simply because it's gorgeous and I hope to one day find a purpose for it.

Beautifully made book, with all the Chakra stones in their correct color sequence.The leather is evenly colored and nicely tooled, and the inside of the cover is lined in a black fabric.The handmade paper is of decent quality, and it's attached by stitching through carefully punched and evenly spaced holes in the spine of the book.I've searched for a larger sized blank book with Chakra stones for several years and was disappointed in the quality, but this one is really a winner!

The media could not be loaded.  This item is made with beautiful craftsmanship. The pages are thick handmade paper. This is definitely a giftable item. It's gorgeous and the chakra stones are in the correct order!I'm using this book to note down important ideas and journal a bit. The paper is great to write on and the closure is good. There's 2 parts to close it. Overall great item

First of all, this EXACT book was on sale in a shop for $150, for which this journal is worth, but I found it affordable here via Amazon by over $100 less!It has beautiful leather and thick papyrus that soaks up ink, colored pencils, charcoal; but, using fine point pens or pushing too hard will puncture the paper.The only thing I would change if I could is the center stone - all the stones follow the order of chakras, and I would have sought to put a black onyx or tourmaline in the center rather than the color chosen.

I received my book which was beautiful beautiful book but when I went to open the clasp one of them broke the little rivet thing was not snapped in good I guess I don’t want to return I am just going to try to fix the clasp

The media could not be loaded.  This product blew me away with the craftmanship. It feels so nice and durable and the pages feel like cloth. I absolutely love it, I say don't spend time debating this purchase just do it. You will not be disappointed!

Like the craftsmanship of it. The size through me off as i thought it was a smaller size. It looks wonderful just wish the stones looked a little better than they do but overall a good buy.
