Eucerin, Scalp Treatment Balm, 100 ml, (Pack of 1)

Helped calm my scalp after a bad shampoo reaction caused a rash and scaling, which I scratched to pieces until I had open sores on my scalp. This treatment is safe for nearly any allergy, and I did my ingredient research to make sure it wouldn't make things worse. This was my last resort--if it didn't work, I was going to have to see a doc. Helped calm my scalp so I could stop itching and let the damn sores heal. I'm glad I tried this first!! Tip--the bottle says you can apply when hair is wet or dry. I have blonde hair, and when I applied all over on dry hair, it left pretty obvious wet spots. I would recommend working into wet hair if using before work or going out, or just using it as a nighttime treatment. Didn't stain my pillowcases.

My twin sister and I have itchyosis ( a dry skin overproduction, which does not shed excess skin without intervention) I’ve used 3 bottles of this; I already use Urea products on my body, but this condition affects the scalp too! This product helps tremendously! Urea dissolves excess skin cells, which for a normal person, would wash off easily in the shower. Not for me! The small amount of Urea acid in it does the trick! And my hair is thicker now too! I hesitate to write this, so if you’re the manufacturer ( Eucerin) DONT raise the price!

This is the third Amazon review I have ever written in the many years I have ordered from Amazon. I bought this product after trying many oils, lotions, etc. For over 20 years, I have had itchy, bumps (small noduals) on my scalp. I often feel that my scalp is `on fire' in spots. I would itch my scalp sch that, at times, scabs had formed. I've been to dermatologists and doctors. I was told the condition arises from stress and is connected to overactive nerve endings under the scalp. I gave up going to medical doctors about this issue. I have nonetheless continued to try many topical products in search of relief. Nothing has worked -- until this product. Almost immediately, a few drops cooled my scalp. I do not feel the urge to itchy as much. I actually think it has reduced the number of bumps because I am not itching my scalp as much. WHAT A RELIEF! This product really works and does so immediately upon application. It is so soothing. The lotion is not sticky and it does not leave a residue. I just ordered 2 more bottles to keep by my home office computer and on my night stand. It will not eliminate an itchy scalp all together; however, it has significantly reduced the sensations arising from of my itchy, burning scalp. I hope this review helps others dealing with similar scalp issues.

I ordered this product because anything in shampoo form just wasn’t working. My itchy, dry scalp sudden got really bad over two days and it legitimately hurt to even move my hair or brush it back from my face. Any movement of hair would make me feel like my scalp was on fire and it was incredibly painful and red. I had used a serum that you’d directly apply to the scalp a long time ago but couldn’t remember what it was. I looked on Amazon and this seemed to be pretty much exactly what I was looking for. I applied directly to my scalp after a shower per directions and massaged it in. I felt relief almost instantly. I used it for 3 days and the painful/itchy scalp started to go away. It became less and less red after showering and I am happy to report that yesterday was the first day I didn’t use it after two weeks of consistent use and my scalp feels great. No pain, no redness. I make sure to dry my hair at the cool setting in order to reduce drying out the skin and I believe that has also helped. I’ll definitely use it again if I feel any sort of tightness or pain again. My hair is pretty thin (esp for an Asian) and I can’t go 2 days without washing it before it gets stringy and gross. This doesn’t do anything to change that but for me, I was looking for something to get my scalp healthy again.

I have seb derm of the scalp, and use this lotion between shampoos as needed when my scalp gets itchy. It is effective at calming itchiness, if not a seb derm cure, and I plan to repurchase. I appreciate that it is unscented and non-irritating.

I bought this after extensive reading about my itchy scalp and what I feel was excessive hair loss. This did not help at all with the itchyness, and therefore no help with the incessant shedding. Rinsing with peppermint tea or adding a few peppermint oil to water and rinse is much more effective... so, for me it was a waste of money

My shampoo or hair coloring might be irritating my scalp, Really annoying. I wasnt ready to bother my doctoer, so I ordered this product. when the Pandemic is over, I'll visit a dermatoligist but for now Im getting some relief

Our son has a skin condition that gives him extremely dry skin (called ichthyosis). We have lotions with urea in them that work on the rest of his body (urea seems to be the 'magic' ingredient for this type of condition), but obviously putting lotions in his hair would make a huge mess. This is the only product we have found that offers a non-greasy, leave-in product for the scalp with a high urea content. We put it on his scalp after bath time (a little goes a long way), and his hair dries as usual...you can't tell it's there. Results are pretty dramatic...a couple of days of treatment removes all traces of dry, scaly skin. I hope Eucerin never stops making this!

Hello, I don’t write many reviews, but this product has made such a positive difference to me, I feel I need to express this in hope it helps others too.I have suffered with a dry, itchy scalp for the past year, for the first time in my life. I have tried numerous shampoos, oils, natural home remedies and none of them worked. I was finding the situation fairly disheartening...I tried this product, as it was a different sort of product to the above and IT WORKS!I use this after washing my hair, whilst damp. Now I have no dry flakes. Sometimes after drying my hair, I have the odd itch, but again this product (which can be used on dry hair too) remedies the situation with a quick top up in affected area.I don’t think I am healed, as I can’t remember the last time I needed dry shampoo! But it keeps the issue in checkI am still on my first bottle, which I have been using for approx 2 months.I hope this helps and works the same for everyone.

This was chosen after a long list of others I've tried. I suffer from a very itchy scalp no dandruff but I do get sore bumps.I can be scratching my scalp sore with itching keeping me up all night.There were no great expectations of this scalp treatment, but guess what it works!Very simple to apply with a nozzle, you squeeze onto the scalp you can massage it in but I didn't bother just put it where I was itching and within minutes it started working all of the itching gone, there is hardly any smell to it which was a relief after some I've triedIt's not thick and very easy to squeeze onto scalp, some scalp treatments leave your hair claggy and lank but this doesn't.I tried it for a couple of weeks now and will definitely buy more.

After about a week of use, the itchiness of my scalp went, my hairs been noticeably really healthy as well it feels great. I’ve had an itchy scalp for a couple years now and anti dandruff shampoo wasn’t cutting it so this is great

My scalp psoriasis has been quite scabby for a while now, getting very dry, and tight. This treatment provided instant relief from this as soon as it's applied. You have to be careful not to apply too much - don't want to waste it! A little goes a long way though.I've had this for a few days and have been applying it twice a day so can't say whether it reduces psoriasis or inflammation as yet, but it does provide relief from scratching at the psoriasis. Now I just have to try to stop scratching! 😅
