SEGWAY Unisex's NES2 Electric Scooter, Black, 43 x 102 x 113 cm

I bought this as a Christmas present for my 11 year old son. Initially he was quite intimidated by it and would only use the very slowest setting. However, within a couple of weeks he was using sports mode practically all the time. Since he doesn't weigh much, he can reach a top speed of 17mph.I don't allow him to go out on his own when using this, since it's very expensive and I worry he could be targeted buy thieves so, my mountain bike has been getting some serious use since he got this. We usually do a 5 mile round trip everyday, weather permitting. The headlight and coloured LED's look great during these dark nights and it's nice having something we can do together.He absolutely loves this scooter and I dare say if you asked him, he'd say this was his best Christmas present EVER. He's already talking of getting the battery upgrade for his birthday.PS: Make sure you get some blue tread locker for the bolts on the stem. They tend to come loose with vibration over time and need constant tightening without thread locker.

I've seen the M365, and it's a pretty pale imitation of this scooter. This scooter has been designed with care, and it's super easy to use, super easy to start and get used to, and super, super fun to ride. If your commute is more than a few miles and you can't charge it on both sides, then get the extra battery pack. But other than that, this is just wonderful - the collapsed mode has the charger port as a handle, the connector for the extra battery is easy, the HUD is elegant and clean, the design of the brake and the accelerator is perfect on the handlebars, too.It's sleek and cool. A physical brake exists in the form of just moving your foot and pushing down on the fender. It's just simply, a well-designed, reliable, easy-to-use scooter, and it's super, super fun.

I’m so disappointed about the product, It is very poor quality, I have many problems with the screws and the battery after a month of use does not have the same length.

Great scooter used for leisure only minor annoying factor is the charge port it’s difficult to fit the waterproof grommet. Charging is fast but instructions unclear as to whether to take it to 100% or not. No warning beeps for high or low charge. Overall great Scooter

I use this shooter 6 days a week to get too and from work about 2.2 miles both ways on a bumpy path with my lights on and im still left with about %30 battery and havent used my mountain bike sinceit needs a firmware update from the segway app so the brakes are smoother and don't jolt you forward every time you brake but this isnt a problem at all if you have a phonethe built-in lights are as bright as car lightsit reaches up to 18mph but i found its more consistantly 16-17mphverry strong construction i crashed it into some scaffholding and diddnt even get a scratchmy only problems are:the back tires sometimes slip to one side going over wet drain covors ... but it never made me lose balance or fall offthe foot bord isnt grippy when its wet depending on the shoe your wareing... the steele cap shoe i ware dosent give me this problem i find converse dotheres no way in indicate unless you put cruse control on and take your hand offpeople in cars don't expect a guy on a scooter they expect a guy on a bike
