Cute!
My daughter loves this leotard, it is super cute, fits nicely, and is just a little bit fancier than the standard ballet leo. I think this would be a great choice for a tween, as the top part is ruffled in such a way that it hides developing breast buds. Don't get me wrong, not necessarily saying that girls should hide themselves, but many girls in that stage are self conscious and a standard leo wont hide a thing!

straps starting breaking after a few washes
The straps on the leotard starting breaking after a few washes. The leotard fits true to size, is comfortable, and does not pill in the wash. My daughter was initially so excited about it. However, after 1 month of wearing it two times a week, the straps started breaking off. She was OK with 1 or 2 broken straps but at this point we have no choice but to throw it away. Of course the return window is closed now so I am stuck with it....do not recommend this leotard.

Great for dance class
My daughter loves this leotard for her dance class! The navy blue color allows her to accessorize with different shorts and leggings as the weather changes, while the straps make the leotard more fancy than a typical dance outfit.

Cute, but not very comfortable
I bought the 5/6 for my almost 6 year old who is on the small side and it fit her perfectly. It's really cute on her. However, she finds it itchy in several spots around the top (such as where the tag used to be and where the straps attach in the front. It made her so miserable I had to change her out of it during her dance class. So we won't be wearing it again.

We have had several Capezio gymnastics leotards before and the fit for those was awesome. This ballet one however is too large in the leg holes, the rest fits tight. My daughter loves it because of the open back design but I can not send her out in public with gaping leg openings it looks weird even with the tights on.

Disappointing
This would be pretty in theory but I have an extremely small 9 year old and I still sized up and it's STILL uncomfortably tight in the armpits. It's not cut right.

Way to small
The size chart was not accurate. This Leo was 2 sizes smaller than it showed to be.
