Made more for lefties
I wanted to like this. I really did. But I hate it. It’s made for lefties. I don’t care what other people say, the pocket clip is on the wrong side. When it’s clipped to my right front pocket, I have to pull it off the pocket and flip it over in my hand to deploy the blade. I don’t want to have extra steps when I need a blade. Also, the blade change is really weird. You basically bend the halves apart to get the blade out. That’s not usually a good design when you have to bend the product out of shape to change a utility blade. Plus the price. I know it’s titanium but come on. The blades that come with it are “safety” blades. One side is a “camping fork” (like it will ever get used for that) and the other side looks like a regular blade but is flat enough to not cut you easily. No one wants a dull utility blade. Needless to say I returned this after 5 minutes of play time. It’s not ready for the main stream. Hate on me all you want, I use a utility blade all day every day and this is too much of a pain to use that much.

Well Built, expensive, wrong color, hard to change blades.
I’ll start by saying that this is vey well built and a great design when it comes to blade deployment. (I’ll touch on swapping out the blades in a minute). Perfect for opening boxes and the two blanks/blades it comes with are great for cutting tape on boxes. The blanks don’t have an edge but can still take care of basic box tape or envelopes. You can use standard razor utility blades in this as well. Pocket clip is strong and holds in the pocket well.If you travel a lot it’s great to be able to fly with just the frame. Then you can buy some cheap razor blades at your destination so you have something to cut with. Without the risk of TSA taking a good pocket knife out of your checked baggage. It’s fairly expensive but worth it to support a smaller company. The blades are really hard to swap out. It takes a few tries to get the hang of it. You have to twist the blade and frame in opposite directions and it’s just seems like you could end up damaging the slide, blade or your fingers trying to pry a razor blade out. (There are YouTube videos provided by the manufacturer that show a few ways to “open” it.)Lastly, they sent me the wrong color. I ordered the Stonewash and received the matte black. Not a big deal as I like both colors but it’s a careless mistake and for spending almost $100 on this product the quality control should be better. All in all I’m glad I ordered the TPT slide but I’m not sure if I’ll drop the money on some of their other products that are $120+. Especially with the quality control issues I ran into. Just beware of this before you order and hopefully you like both colors.***It should be noted that in the attached photos I have aftermarket titanium coated utility blades in my TPT.

It is totally worth it if you are a knife guy!
There is a small knife community out there. Some of us.. we love to buy knives regardless of its cost. Ex: Alpha Beast butterfly knives they can go for 300 500 each. The TPT Slide : Titanium Pocket Tool is no different. it even use Torx bits which is good for those that already have tons of knives laying around and their Wiha Torx kit, typical knife guy. However not everyone will have a torx bits laying around not even for the electronic repair guy or the guy that loves to buy Ikea furnitures then put them together. The mechanism that let you remove the blade is just insane.... both of my thumbs skin are coming off one of them is bleeding as i'm writing this review. they want you to twist the blade as well as pushing the slider up the opposite direction from the little metal inside the slides. I have to resort to opening this thing removing the blade with my torx kit as well as removing the pocket clip and add it to my key change.. btw the Torx bit size is T5 for those who doesn't have one. So to sum this up.. it is worth it? in my opinion yes yes it is. i want something that is small enough to add to my key change set my edc. it is made out of titanium so it is very light adding this with a Lenox titanium razor blade you will have a perfect set. However if you aren't a knife guy and just trying to get an easy utility blade that can get a job done then buy the Outdoor Edge Slidewinder Utility Knife.

Don’t waste your money
There is no way that this thing is worth the money. Is it well made? Sure. But it is not worth what you would pay for it. Honestly I saw it on an EDC sight on Tumblr and bought it. No worth the money at all. Seriously. Save your time and money.

10:10!
If you want an awesome EDC (every day carry) alternative to your expensive blade to open envelopes, boxes, or anything you can think of using a utility blade...this is the one for you. I have both the slide and the regular one and love both. However I find the slide to be easier to manipulate with one hand. It takes no room in your pocket and the weight, at least to me, feels nothing more than the weight of a quarter. The construction is very simple but very well put together. If it matters to you, the black gets scratched up pretty easily but I'm not one to keep the tools I use alot looking pretty for long so not a problem for me. It has other tools on there which are great in a pinch however I carry a leatherman. I like to carry redundancy gear for the just in case so this the perfect addition for me and my EDC.

The Perfect ECD Tool
There are cheaper models and much more expensive ones, but this one, IMHO, is the best. Slim, light-weight, easy to operate (one-handed), made of titanium, and gets the job done. Others are too big or heavy or fiddly to operate. This is built to last and slip easily in your pocket. It’s overall design and engineering is pure perfection. The two different colored blades (and fork) that come wit it are not sharp, but can open most packages. Would they pass TSA inspection? I don’t know, nor would I chance it. The accompanying leather case is compact and well made. Highly recommended...use it all the time!

Not worth it
Definitely not worth the price lol let's be real here lol alas once you get it an post your pic on Instagram your followers will be jealous lol in all seriousness though. Getting the blade out is sketchy and there is way cheaper options. I would pass if I was you but hey I'm sure you are as stupid as me and love wasting money.

Habtisch schön, technisch mangelhaft
Hallo!
