I purchase this as a general-purpose "dock" to use when at home and on the road. When on the road, it works great. However, in a home setting and in some field settings, I expect the maglock to hold the watch in place when the device isn't sitting flat on the desk. However, if there is a tilt or the dock is hanging, the watch will slowly slip off the glossy surface of the hub. I wish the indentation was not glossy and had a texture like an apple magnetic charger (which works fine in these settings). No significant complaints. But, buyers should be aware.

My travel bag for adapters and cables has been a nightmare for a while, so I picked this charger up to see if I could cut down on some of the clutter. We usually use our laptops as a charging source, so USB-C was a requirement. The built-in Apple Watch charger is great - one fewer cable to cart around with us - but I *have* noticed it sometimes doesn't sit exactly right so it won't charge or charges very slowly. I suspect this is due to the watch band having to sit underneath the unit so it can be a little unstable if bumped. That said, overall definitely worth it and it's simplified our travel gear.

This is a nice addition to any Macbook air to facilitate connections to other devices. It does lack an adapter for SD cards which would have been nice. The addition of the watch charger is a nice addition however the watch charging does seem slow vs the standard charger. Overall not a bad adapter for MacBook Air.

The watch charger does not seem to work. Whenever I place my Apple Watch 5 on the charger, the watch battery level goes down instead of up. And it goes down fast! My watch battery level was at 67% charged. I place it on the charger and it went to 45% in about 30 minutes. Later on I placed it on the charger and the watch went from 25% to 8% in about 45 minutes !! My Apple Watch 5 charges just fine when on the Apple wireless charger that came with it. Only has a problem when on the device I received from BASEUS.Have attempted to contact seller, but Amazon says "Your e-mail(s) to BASEUS Shop ([email protected]) cannot be delivered because there was a problem with the recipient's email system. The recipient can still view the message in their message center on Amazon.com, but they will not receive it by e-mail. We apologize for the inconvenience."I will send it back for a refund if the seller does not respond.

This is my second try for this product. The first one would not stay in charging mode but cycle off and on again every 3 to 5 seconds. This second one will stay in 'charging' mode but the battery percentage steadily drops - The charge went went from 87% down to 81% in about 15 minutes on the charger. Very disappointing. Works as a hub still but way overpriced for only that.

Works well with my Lenovo X1 Carbon (5th gen I believe). I have had trouble with other USB-C and Thunderbolt 2 hubs with my laptop, other than the expensive Lenovo-branded Thunderbolt 2 hub. But I plugged this one in and it worked without driver updates or whatnot. Pass through power with my Lenovo USB-C type charger works as well.

great combination of the ports that I need.HDMI 4K works great, the most convenient part is the Apple Watch charging ability.though it's not fast charging for Apple Watch, but always good to have.very solid build, high quality that you can rely on.highly recommend and choose the one base on your need.

Title covers it: it’s a nice concept, looks better than any of the other USB-C hubs I own, but the Watch charger simply doesn’t work. I’m sitting here watching the ‘charging’ screen on my watch pop up and wink out once a second, and apparently that animation uses up ever so slightly more power than the charger is actually delivering in those intermittent phases that it’s working. Had it sitting on the dock overnight to charge, and it took the Watch battery from 33% to... 27%. Not impressed.
