POLAR CS Series Speed Sensor Set

Polar Products and sensors work great. My only issue with them is non replacement of battery which is not commonly available with other reputed competitors like Cycelops and Garmin who have equally good products. Price wise Polar sensors are roughly 50% of the reputed competitors.

Very easy to install onto bike. However, getting the magnet just close enough to the sensor to register can be tricky your first time installing this if you have never used it before and don't know how close the small magnet needs to be. For those reading, if sensor not reading place magnet at an angle so it almost touches the sensor as it spins by on your wheel. Sometimes before a ride I will have to readjust magnet, as it may have shifted from last ride, to get sensor to read again. Product works as stated. In the future a stronger magnet would be nice.

Works exactly the like the original and is accurate and simple to install. Polar has been a very dependable product.

It's like the printer cartridge replacement program where companies make more $$$ on replacement cartridges than the product i.e. Polar CS100 bicycle computer speedometer. I refuse to pay $40.00 every year or so and into the garbage can it goes... It's close to robbery.

This is a replacement. Hit a bump (not bad enough to damage my wheel) but makes the speed sensor erratic. Product should be more robust. Also, cannot mount the receiver on the handlebars - has to be worn on my left wrist as otherwise reception from the speed sensor is very poor.

This speed sensor works great. I think it is unfortunate that Polar designed this component without changeable batteries. You must completely replace it after a few years. Bad design on great product.Amazon was fast with shipping on product as specified. If I could replace the old batteries, I'd give this 5 stars.Thanks!!

I suspected my Polar bike computer was on its last legs since it stopped displaying speed and distance as well as it used to. Sometimes it would work and sometimes not. I tried different positions of speed sensor and computer, but it kept getting worse. I started shopping for new computers but then I thought I'd try spending a lot less money and trying a new speed sensor and it works great again now! No problems with signal, it paired with my old computer easily and I saved myself a lot of money.

sync'd right up to the Polar CS100B, once calibrated per manual, it's extremely accurate. changes your training, makes you aware of your performance.

Prodotto completo di tutte le fascette, supporto per manubrio ed altre fascette anche per il ciclocomputer e magnete per raggi , peccato perchè la batteria del sensore però non sembra al 100%, ho avuto parecchia difficoltà a trovare il punto di lettura del magnete rispetto allo stesso prodotto che ho sostituito, ma forse questo dipende più da Polar che dalla batteria
