Is the coffee maker made in the usa?

It says right on the bottom of the box that it is made in China. Now, it also says, which could be misleading, that KichenAid is "An American Brand Since 1919".

I've had problems in the past with the warming plate rusting, does this one?

Have only had it a few months. Not yet.

How long does it take to brew a whole pot of coffee ?

Regular brew takes 9 1/2 minutes. Strong brew takes 20 minutes. I timed it a few times because I thought there was an issue with the pot... no issue, just slower than any other coffee pot I’ve had.

Is there a beep when its finished brewing?

Yes, and also at the end of the heating plate cycle. If you set your plate warming for 2 hours, it will beep and cut off the heat after two hours. The two hour cycle starts at the end of the brewing cycle. A timer on the display shows how much time is left on the heating plate cycle.
