Good show, with good characters, but just wish the story plot line was longer.
I love story. I love the characters. Especially Misao and Yoriko Yunoki, and their friendship/relationship. Along with Misao and Akira’s family relationship. But I wished there had been more episodes to expand the story, and fill in, what I feel is unanswered information involving Misao, Akira, and Yoriko. Do those three characters ever meet up again? Do Misao and Yoriko become each other’s love-interest? What other past background concerns Akira, and what happens to him afterward, if the final episode doesn’t answer that question? I love the first episode where Misao is with the boy she meets while on her school class Field-trip at the beach, and Akira is shocked when he sees them both together through satellite surveillance video. Then I love third episode where Yoriko is licking her lips in front of Akira, as if she is trying to kiss him, after they meet in-person for the first time. Then at the end of that same episode, where Yoriko kisses Akira and Misao goodbye, before she leaves for home. Yes, these are spoil alerts. I wish there were an English dub of this show too, hopefully there will be one someday, if any anime dubbing studio decides to acquire the rights to produce and release one. I am only giving these show three stars because I wish that the story once again, had more info to offer, than just five episodes. It seemed too short of a story to me. Not because of the characters in the show.

BPS! A nice find!
I ordered BPS to complete my collection of Tenchi adjacent anime. I was shocked and delighted to find that this lesser known anime was on Blu-ray and at a reasonable price. I say reasonable because the show only consists of 5 episodes. For fans of the Sasami series (Magical Project S of Sasami’s Magical Girls Club) one of the main characters Is Misao.

Not for everyone, a parody that borders on going too far.
This is five episodes that set up the ways this story of a super genius computer programmer with zero social skills could go-- from something bordering on incest to a pair of relatives each developing interlocked romances, and provides some alternate takes with women our geek knows from his high school days, a "too young" girl who somehow is in the Navy but is also as smart as he is, or the older sister of a boy in school with the protagonist's younger relative. No, it does not make sense, and if one story was chosen and a 24 episode season of it were made it would borderline on astounding. This is your venue to see the ways it could have gone, to see bad jokes of Japanese humor used to set up the situations, and it is actually funny. It borders on going too far, but then, it barely manages to stay on the Japanese "safe side" even if it might be less than "American safe side" for part of the implied but not shown possibilities. Not for everyone, this is five episodes of parody of the otaku culture turned into the geniuses who save the world with common sense calling in sick and missing each episode as the humor almost oversteps acceptable. Not for everyone, but still interesting.
