Feels like an unlabeled EVO 850, which is a good thing.
I guess this drive is a new arrival because I don't recall seeing it before. Actually it's hard to find much info about it online but the price was OK for a Samsung drive so I took the gamble. What I found out led me to believe it might be an OEM drive by Samsung, similar to EVO 850 but not marketed as such. The IOPS on this drive seem to be rated just as well as the EVO. I've never had problems with Samsung drives yet and so far this has been no exception. SMART info comes back good and everything on the drive is running very smooth and consistent. Getting consistent reads of 540mb/s and writes of 530mb/s. Gets a little hotter than I expected, reaching 50c after two hours of constant writes, but considering it never gets above that no matter how hard I work it and it is rated for up to 70C operating temps everything seems to be working just find. It's an M.2 SATA drive rather than NVME so if you are looking for speeds up to 3,000gb/s etc. you'll want to look for an NVME. But with high endurance TLC on this Samsung drive, it's built for the long haul. In several real world tasks that I measured, this drive performed practically identical to my Crucial P1 NVME drive, including during decompression of archives. The seller I ordered from "Hard drive Geeks" gave me no issues, either. A smooth experience and so far an impressive SSD.

Good price and performance
The SSD is fast enough, I had an Intel SSD before but it wasn't so fast and also it didn't have enough storage capacity so I bought it and I'm happy with it.
