Must have for rainy places
I originally bought this jacket in 1996 absolutely loved it. Greatest rain jacket ever, used it in Costa Rica where it rains buckets and the rain never made it through it. Super comfortable and not bulky. I made the mistake of hanging it in direct sunlight in my room which damaged the inside. Had I not done that I have a feeling it would still be fine. Am currently rebuying as it is a definite must have for me….excellent qualit

Keeps me dry
I like that this is a little longer than other rain jackets. The hood is adjustable so I can still see out when the hood is up. The material is a little loud. Color is very pretty.

I hiked in the rain for 2.5 hours and was dry
Works. Idk about how long the waterproofing lasts as opposed to older ones (I used to have some that were completely waterproof but they don’t make them that waterproof anymore due to the environmental impacts. eBay has some but it’s hard to find them from 10+ years ago). This one was great for being rained on off and on for a 5 hour hiking day. I got drenched and was dry.

Weird sizing
I ordered a women’s large to be able to layer over sweaters or another jacket. Hang tag said women’s large but sewn in tag at the neck said M/M. It fits more like a men’s medium with long arms and broad across the chest but too snug at the hips. The Blue Agave is a great color but the weird sizing and super thin material were not at all what I was hoping for.

It's smaller than my previous one.
This is my third purchase of this jacket. Obviously I like it, however the latest version is a full inch smaller across the back and around the chest. It's made in a different country than the previous jacket, so obviously from a different factory. I measured my old one and was quite surprised to see that much of a variation. This makes a difference for me as these run small anyway, and I like to be able to wear a sweater or lightweight fleece underneath. I don't feel I have that option with a full inch being taken away. The other reason for only three stars is that the waterproofing in the lining starts to flake off after a few years, which is why this is my third purchase of the jacket. I'd still be wearing my first one if the lining hadn't worn away (planned obsolescence?). I have a couple of TNF Gore-Tex jackets that are 30 years old and are still in great shape. Things I do like are the stowable hood, unlike a similar jacket I have by The North Face which has no such provision. It's comfortable aside from feeling smaller, has long enough sleeves for me, and has pit zips to help with ventilation, and is lightweight and packs small. I liked the brighter colors of the earlier two jackets I had, but this is okay. As noted earlier, these do seem to run small, so order a size up, especially if you plan on a thicker later underneath. This may be my last purchase of this jacket, I'll look for a different product next time.

Well made
Bought this jacket for a couple summer/ fall trip that have high chance of rain. Being in the summer with high temps but rain can be challenging. I was looking for a jacket with under arm vents while still protecting you from rain.I am a 2X in most clothing brands and only 5’3” in height so I do depend on accurate sizing charts when ordering. I am an apple shape, so I tend to fit belly/waist first. This jacket tends to nip in the waist area. The chest was fine but the waist area was tight. Sleeves were long on me but with the wrist Velcro straps, tighten them up keeps the sleeves in place. Why I picked this jeacket, it had some important features such as the under arm venting, allowing you to feel more comfortable especially in high temps. Besides the adjustments that can be made to the sleeves, the hood has a back adjustment that allow for the hood not be spilling over your sight. I just wish that it had a more relaxed fit at the waist.

It wasn’t true to size
I bought large but it was the same size as the medium I already have

First wear in the rain and I stayed dry
Having had a couple of lightweight supposedly waterproof coats I paid a bit more and this one seems so far to do what it says ie keep you dry. Also pleased with the general quality, would have preferred a bit more colour design
