Perfect
I work in a high tech, static free work environment. We had to get all the plastic drink cups and bottles off our workstations because of the static they generate. These cups are the only cups that our quality department would authorize.

Great ESD Coffee Cup
This is a wonderful cup for an ESD environment. It even comes with a certificate that states it's ESD safe.

The lid has a slide on it and it will not stay open, it keeps closing when you try drinking from cup.

Good, but not exactly what I wanted
This is a nice tumbler. Good quality, but I was searching for one that was stainless steel inside and out. This one is plastic inside. I couldn't tell from the pictures or description so I was a little disappointed when it came. That wouldn't bother me too much except that it was a touch pricey & I found one that fit my criteria for $5 cheaper a few days later. Oh well, it's a good back-up.

Do not get this mug!
If I were to sum up this mug in one word, it would be garbage. If I were to sum it up in four words it would be, Not actually ESD safe. Some of the complaints about the lid do not do this mug justice. Never ever wear anything with light colors when drinking coffee with this mug. There is about a 25% chance it will end up on you. While the metal is conductive the pad on the bottom of the cup is not and causes the stainless steel not to come in contact with your work surface. The lid is also electrically isolated from the rest of the mug.So what does this mug do right? Is it insulated at all? No. You feel every degree of your drink and the contents will go to room temperature very quickly. Is it sturdy? No, even a one foot fall at the right angle will completely destroy the bottom causing leaks. Is it dishwasher safe? Nope, says so right on the slip of paper that comes with the mug. Does it have a ESD symbol so managers think they are getting a value? Well... yes, yes it does. Good on you Menda Pump company for providing no value at $20.00.

ESD mugs are hard to find...
Having said that, this is what my husband needed. It's very expensive for a travel mug but I thought that possibly an ESD mug would be worth it. It broke (the insert came out of the outer casing) within 6 months. This mug was hand-washed, never put in a dishwasher. I had hoped for the price it would have lasted longer.I contacted Amazon Customer Service and was issued a $5 credit to be used toward another Amazon fulfilled order. I appreciate the credit but it didn't really make up for a broken mug...

I DO NOT recommend this cup
The push on lid will leak after a little use. The slide cover on top that seals off the drinking hole gets loose just after a few uses causing it close when you take a sip. Not very insulated either, Outside of this cup becomes very warm with coffee which dissipates the heat to quickly. The quality of this cup is 2 thumbs down, I wouldn`t pay $1 for this - it makes for a worthless coffee mug.Jeff M.
