I got this water bottle since I lost my workout bottle last week. I wanted to give this a try since it has a built in filter so I can fill out the bottle in public without worrying about what I'm drinking.Like carbon based filter system, the coconut filter system needs to be activated. I tried filling it out just in the bottle and the water turned black. Nothing that can't be cleaned out with a paper towel. To speed up the process I just took the filter out of the bottle and rinsed it directly under my faucet. Checked the water color after a few minutes of rinsing and I was ready to go.I really like the design of the cap that doesn't leak even from the water filler opening.It takes less than a minute to fill up so if you're someone always on the go it’s not bad at all.I did notice that because the bottle is curved, it's more likely to tip over in my car cup holder. Since it doesn't leak, that's not really a big deal. The curve makes it easier to hold ergonomically. I always have an affinity to recycled products and I love coconuts!

I really wanted to love this water bottle! I needed a water bottle to filter the chlorinated taste of water at Disney, and the idea of it filtering as you filled the bottle up as opposed to filtering thru the straw was different than the britta portable bottles. Unfortunately, after giving it a try the water tasted exactly like it does out of the tap. I ended up exchanging for the Britta filter water bottle and it worked as expected

I love this bottle because water filters when you fill it. Other competitors have the filter in the straw which takes more effort and I found myself drinking less water. I also fill this one the pour it into another glass and fill it again. Saves me a trip to the watercooler at work :)

I loved how fast the filter seemed to be. It is great that I can get filtered water anywhere I go. Makes the water a grandma's taste better too (country vs city water). If you are looking for a filter bottle that will be fast to travel with in the states, this is what you are looking for!

I filled up in the airport and the water tasted great, but when I filled up at my hotel, and again later in a different city and all I could taste was chlorine
