Why I recomend Bio-Spot
I Rated this a 5 star because Bio-Spot dont make my cats sick! And it works right away! I have been using Bio-Spot for 2 years now and I have always been satisfied since the first time I tried Bio-Spot. I called the Hotline number and learned a lot about fleas, how long they stay dormant and how I needed to vacuum and mop floor daily before fleas disappeared! As long as I put Bio-Spot flea drops on my cats Monthly I have no fleas!

BEWARE STAY AWAY!!!!
I received this flea medication today and my cat has had a very bad reaction to it! I just contacted the company's emergency number and was forwarded to ASPCA. I need to inform other consumers that they should not use this on their cats! This is a terrible product! My poor poor kitty is suffering with a burn on the back of her neck and is in terrible pain. BE WARE AND STAY AWAY!!!!!

Works perfectly as a preventative - didn't do much as a flea treatment
A year ago, I would have given this product 5 stars. My mother has used it for years and hasn't had any flea problems in that time, so it came well-recommended. When I adopted a flea-ridden kitten, I gave her a flea bath and then a dose of biospot. I never saw a flea again. And while she's an indoor cat, she spent time on our deck every day.Fast forward two years: over the summer I left my cat with a sitter who forgot to use the BioSpot. Somehow the sitter didn't notice my cat was covered in fleas, and I only realized it when I brought her home and let her out of the carrier. Once again I gave her a flea bath and then a dose of BioSpot. But this time the fleas were much worse. A few days later, I was still finding live fleas on her.To be fair, Advantage didn't work either, and neither did Comfortis, a pill that's supposed to be the best. We were treating our apartment with everything (sprays, bug bombs, powders) and vacuuming constantly. The only flea treatments that worked were Capstar pills and Revolution (a prescription topical treatment). As a preventative, this stuff works great, and it's the only treatment for pets I know of that has an IGR (insect growth regulator). Given the price and the convenience, I'll probably use it again if I move to a cooler climate.

bald spot
My cat wasn't currently infested when I applied this so I can't really say if it works in killing what it claims to kill. I purchased this for preventative purposes. After application I found a bald spot on my cat where I applied the liquid. This indicates to me that the chemicals in this can be harsh. I took my cat to a vet 2 weeks later to get routine vaccines and showed them this product. The vet told me that she recommends staying away from this active ingredient and recommended some alternative treatments. Probably will take her advice and try and alternative when it is time for the next treatment. I assume that not all cats will get the same bald spot reaction as mine did probably depends on each cat how they react.

Best Tick & Flea Treatment Ever
This Bio Spot Cat Treatment is the Best I have ever used. The first time I bought it I thought well it's not that much money and Frontline Plus don't work very well with my outdoor/indoor cat. He always gets Ticks. I was extremely happy after one month of Bio Spot. Not one Tick or Flea....nothing. I used the other 2 months and purchased the 6 month pack at an amazing price of $22.40. All the money I am saving and all the Ticks that I dont have to pull of my cat make us both Happy. Highly recommend this. Try it...it's cheap enough that you can. I don't think you are going to be disappointed. " Excellent Product"

Product is very easy to apply with applicator
I bought this after a long search for finding something that covers fleas and ticks. Product is very easy to apply with applicator, so far no problems with prevention, and we have used the product for a few months now. It does leave the area on the cats neck looking greasy however after a few days and a couple of brushing fur goes back to normal. I would highly recommend.

Very runny and greasy
What this product did was, cause the ticks to crawl off the cat and onto furniture, bedding, or a person. It did not kill them. Seems to be effective against fleas but that was not the problem. The consistency was very runny and greasy, causing an oil slick all down the cat's back and sides.

Makes big greasy spot cats can reach to lick off
There was so much volume it spread out into a large greasy area. This allowed my cats to reach around and try to lick it off. I washed it off as soon as I realized what they were doing, but they became sick from what they had ingested. Never had that problem with other similar products.
