Seriously Outstanding
Not big into gardening, I ordered one of these to try to sort my front lawn out. It's absolutely covered in dandillions and other assorted stuff that grows and looks crap. Well, I say "it's covered in . . . " and it was, but not so much now!I took this little device out for a test drive on a weed. Wow! Hard to express what a pleasure it is to use and how effective it is. The whole thing came out with no effort on my part. The full plant, huge weeds and all, just gone. I thought I should try another, so I did. Then another, and another and another and . . . two carrier bags chocka block full of weeds later and only 10 minutes had gone by. Just wow!The device itself is very well made. The angry bits that do the hard work are metal, a lot of the rest is plastic (or it would weigh a ton) but it's extremely strong and well put together. There's nothing at all cheap about this tool. It gives me a feeling of confidence that I'll be using it for a long, long time.A great tool, incredibly useful, a time saver and easy to use. It does what it's supposed to and it does it very, very well. Get one!

Not as good as the 4-prong version
I bought this and also the tool which I guess this is trying to copy which is the Xtract by Fiskars. The Fiskars one has 4 prongs which all bite into the weeds from 4 directions and works really well. This has two prongs at the front end and one u-shaped prong at the back end. It works, and will lift the weeds, but it is not as effective and you really have to position the prongs carefully for it to bite on the weed. It is easy to miss the weed and pull up some of the turf next to it instead.Maybe there are some plants this works better for but I have not found them yet.I guess this is a China copy which had to be a little different to avoid copying claims.Worth paying a bit more for the other one in my opinion.

Good quality and reasonably effective.
I had read that this was one of the better weed pullers (better than a rather well known alternative). I have only tried this one so can't do a direct comparison. The item looks well made and sturdy - well up to the job at hand. It is easy to use but can get a bit stiff to release the weeds if it gets too dirty - easily fixed with a quick clean. We have a heavy clay soil and it is not quite as good as I would like at getting the full tap root of dandelions out. I suspect it would do better on other soil types. Overall it is well made and functional.

Can’t wait till summer
Your browser does not support HTML5 video. This weed puller is going to be real boon in the summertime to pull those pesky dandelions from my grass. I recently bought it because it was on one of those Amazon prime offers that Amazon runs ... I am glad I did. I got to play with this gadget at last, the rain has been too bad to use it before now. It is easy to use, step on the long step bit and push the pincers into the soil. Pull the handle back and it pulls the weed out with ease. No bending or going onto your hands and knees. I didn’t even get my hands dirty! You slide the slider to release the weed and then it is ready for the next weed.

Delivery pre-check must have failed...
Don't get me wrong, product wise it works are advertised. But when I received the product it was missing an important nut+bolt which makes the slide action to release the pulled out weed possible. Instead of returning the product and going through all that hassle, I ended up finding a nut+bolt myself and screwed that in and the mechanism started working as expected. I only wish that they do proper checks before sending out their products for delivery. I checked the nook and corner of the box, but could not find any nuts inside the packaged box. Wasted an hour to find a suitable nut and then bolt that to the unit. Hence my 3 stars.

Next level weed issue solving tool
To briefly describe my issue , I have some nasty strong rooted weeds in my back garden and although I tend to clear them down quite often, they always seem to come back...There's been nearly 2 weeks since I've used this tool and for the moment, no sign for the weeds to come back. I suppose the time of year plays its role as well , but after seeing how deep this weed puller does his job , I'm pretty confident that this was the last chapter from the always resilient weeds storyIt's easy to handle, looks pretty sturdy and does the job ! What else can I wish from a tool ?!

Easy to use and works well ( once you work out how to use it properly!)
This weed puller is amazing! It took a little while to work it out and I had to watch the video in the seller's description, as I wasn't using it correctly. If you press the puller into the centre of the weed so that the foot stalk is parallel to the ground, then lever the weed puller towards you. This then clamps the root of the weed and you can remove it quite easily by sliding the orange handle down the shaft of the product. Once we had worked it out, my other half was quite happy walking round the garden pulling up all the dandelions lol

Snapped second day
Arrived a day earlier than was stated which was nice. Worked ok at first but there was a build up of dirt in the first prong which i had to remove manually as it became harder to release the weeds as the day went on. It worked well with the smaller weeds but when i tried it on a bramble weed it bent and then snapped where the stem meets the bottom part. After looking at the thickness of the metal which looked like aluminium i was not surprised, it is very thin. If you are going to buy this only use it for light weeding, the shaft needs to be built out of something stronger for this to be used professionally which is what i need one for.
