This is a good option for Turkish coffee if you can't do a traditional hot sand set up. Never use metal to stir.

I love this Briki. It arrived well packed. It is beautiful, very good quality & has a good weight to it, not flimsy. I use it every morning to boil water for my tea. It is perfect to fill my 22 oz teapot. I prefer the Briki over the tea kettle. I am familiar with Brikis because when I was younger, my one chore was to make Greek coffee for my step-father every night from an aluminum one. This copper briki is so much better. The handle is wooden & placed at a good angle & stays cool. I am very happy with this purchase & highly recommend it.

Makes a great cup of Turkish coffee. Not sure about thickness of copper. Seems thinly plated but it does do the job.
