I’ve tried a few grass seeds in the last year and this one is by far the best. It’s sprouts quickly and the grass is very green right from the start. The blade start out very fine and need watering at least twice a day for the first eight weeks to become well established. This seed does better when covered with some topsoil but I think that’s for all seed. The important thing is to start mowing it once it’s not very fragile to promote root growth . It’s a blend of different grass seeds and I’m hoping it will grow during the winter as well. But I’ve used single type grass seed and none of them have grown as well as this blend. You get a fair amount of grass seeds and I have to say I’ve had excellent germination. As long as it gets water and preferably covered with some topsoil, it has grown. I am very happy with this and definitely recommend this if you’re not having luck with other brands

This grass seed is awesome. Super thick, lush and green. It grew quick and is like a carpet. Glad a buddy suggested this seed. I doubt I’ll use anything else ever again.

Prepared the soil and watered regularly but the seeds have not sprouted.

germination isn't what I expected, although I took great care to properly loosen soil, broadcast seed evenly, and put 1/8" to not more than 1/4" of soil over seed. I watered the seed 3 times per day to keep seed moist while germinating and growing, yet I experienced maybe 50% germination. The seed does produce grass at between 5-7 days, however, it came in very spotty causing me to have to replant seed in the areas it did not germinate well.
