IdatalinkMaestro HRN-RR-GM5 GM5+ - Plug and Play T-Harness for GM Vehicles, With Speaker

Literally Plug and Play!
This is a life saver! I went to their website and the diagram walked me through how to hook everything up - keep in mind that its universal, so depending on your make/model you might not use all the cables they include. This does include the OBDII connector, so you don't have to manually splice into your car's wiring - in my case the only wires I had to manually connect were the ones on the head unit's harness. The cables for the speaker and OBD II port were really long too, so they're easy to run anywhere in the vehicle.

Worked perfect, blinker speaker is a little louder than I'd like.
Harness worked perfect for me. Make sure you're reading the right set of directions from the website! I overlooked the part of the instructions that said to cut the line out converters. Had to drive around for a day with it being VERY quiet. My bad. Great quality otherwise. Only other thing I'd say is the speaker is pretty loud when my blinkers are on. That's just nitpicking though.

Required harness for iDatalink Maestro ADS-MRR interface.
Required harness for the iDatalink Maestro ADS-MRR interface for 2008 Silverado 2500HD. Connectors seem to be of good quality and its bundled up neatly. Gives you the ability to connect speakers to harness coming out of the head unit (high-level inputs) or with RCA connectors (low-level inputs) if your head unit has the outputs for it. You will have to go to iDatalink website for instructions due to many different connecting options for different vehicles. The included speaker is used to reproduce the turn signal, backup sensor warning sounds, and any other factory chime since the factory head unit is what sends the sound to the speakers with the factory setup. The volume of the chimes is just as good as factory (not supposed to be loud or change volume along with your music). The tone is not identical to factory sounds but it is definitely acceptable. I don't use Onstar in my vehicle, but as far as i can tell there is a connector to retain all factory controls. I used an additional harness (AVGM5) sold seperately to retain rear seat entertainment screen. All in all i didnt lose any factory feature using this harness.

Makes install easy!
It’s great! Bulky harness that you do have to make some connections on, but works well. Chime is a little more well made than others. Still cheap though.

worked good
worked as described this is a must have item if you want the maestro unit installed in your GM ,mine was installed in 2011 Chevy Traverse ,it did look good when you were using it but depending on the screen size of your radio it can be a tad small ,but it did what they said ,steering wheel controls for phone ,radio ,volume all worked great with installed radio the price wasn't to bad ,

Makes installation of ADS-MRR easy.
If you going to use the Maestro ADS-MRR, this is pretty much a requirement to connect to a GM Truck. The best news, using the ADS-MRR, the website will give you the wiring schematic, so all you have to is tint the wire ends, install butt connectors and crimp. I had an easy installation thanks to this wiring kit. Also, the coolest part is the OBD-II port that allows my radio to show me all the internal information, like Exhaust Gauge temp of the motor, MAF throttle position, etc.

Terrible Tech Support... Good Product.
What can I say? Does what it says it does. Made my stereo installation a breeze. Gone are the days of splicing wires. Gets 3 stars because the tech support people won't answer e-mails, even after 2 weeks, why even provide a tech support e-mail address idatalink?
