Hitachi NC40G Gas Powered Concrete Nailer, 1-9/16"

I use mine to put down tack strip for installing carpet over concrete. Used to use Ramset Trakfast which is sooooo much more expensive. This baby works just as well! Hint: Use Trakfast fuel cell and pins since I'm pretty sure Hitachi nails and cells are hard to find.

Price was very attractive. But Hitachi tools is now some company called Metabo. Couldn't find a decent source for nails/pins. Tried to return unit but told "not returnable". NOT GOOD Amazon!(expletive deleted)!

Beware, This is a well made tool, made in Japan, not chine. Everything is great until you go to find nail, or concrete pins as they call them. Nobody has them . Hitachi "might" make them. A call the Hitachi tech support was not useful. They had no idea. Its possible other maker make a nail that would work, but Hitachi is all their blindness recommends you only use their nails, only problem there not available or even known about in north america. I found some on the UK and Spanish Amazon site but nobody in America sell the pins. All dressed up and nowhere to go. I would have bought a ramset or hilti next time, and might have to if no fasteners can be located.
