Most other chargers require the controllers to sit face down, making the mass center higher than it needs to be.2. The charging progress is not visualized, but I don't think there's any other charger that shows the actual charge percentage and it's absolutely not needed.2. The cord is not very long and there's no wall charger (it comes with just the USB wire) - again, this is not an issue, since you can plug it into the USB port of the XBox! Even when the Xbox is off, this USB port still gets current, so it charges the controllers. So you don't need to plug it into an outlet, as long as you place the charger within about 2 feet of the Xbox.

I waited to leave a review because I wanted to give it an honest assessment. I got this last June and I am honestly very impressed with it. First of all, the dock is well designed, the controller sits nicely in the cradle and hits the charging ports without fiddling with it. I just toss it on there and it makes the connection, so that's a plus. Nothing worse than thinking you've got the controller charging and you pick it up and 10 minutes later, it's dead. And you always know that it's charging thanks to the helpful lights on the front of the cradle. Battery life is still pretty good after 9 months, no complaints on that. My only (very minor) complaint would be that the indication lights on the front are backwards. The bottom light is for the port in the back, and the top light is for the one in front. Like I said, it's such a minor thing, it just sort of irritates me. For the price and ease of use, this is a great deal and this brand will definitely be my go to choice when I need any kind of charging thingy.

I wish I thought about buying this month's ago. I look forward to week 17 when it starts paying for itself in dollar store batteries. Xbox One controller go through batteries much faster than Xbox 360. Great buy.

Previously when I used a wireless X-Box One controller, battery replacement was a constant (and expensive) thing. So I had decided that when I went back from my wired controller, I would have to have some sort of rechargeable solution. This dock has been a god send. I never have to replace batteries, and it keeps my controller neatly hidden away (behind my TV where I placed it) when it's not in use. Even if I forget to place the controller on the charger and it does, I can drop it on there for a few minutes and have enough charge to some basic inputs like selecting a video in Netflix - then it charges while I watch. I will never go back to batteries.I've only had the dock for a few months, so I can't really speak to longevity, but I see no reason why it wouldn't work for the long haul.

So far so good. Easy to charge unlike others I have owned where you have to fight to keep the controller charging. You simply put the charger on the controller and sit it on the charging port. Doesn’t charge as quickly as other reviews stated. It took mine roughly 6-8 hours to charge (where the red light turned green). I plan to buy another one of these to replace with our finicky one if this good streak continues.

Absolutely the worst product I have ever purchased! Went with these to save money buying AA batteries, they worked after the 1st charge, when they were dead I changed them now BOTH controllers wont turn on, even tried putting AA batteries back in them and discharging any capacitors that may be in them still nothing. 100% I would NOT recommend this product.

I would buy this again if I had to there is no way my grandson can mess this one up. He messes up all of his electronics but this is a no fail one I put the batteries in the controller's and all you have to do is set it on the base no plugging it in that's a mistake I will never ever make again controller's for the xbox 1 are not cheap and now I will never have to replace one thank you god.

I absolutely love how well it works to charge your battery and switch out. It has saved tons buying batteries for my sons controller. However the life of the packs are already dimensioning. They do not last very long anymore. I thought it could be my son and how he uses it but it isn’t. This would get 5 stars across the board if it wasn’t for that.
