Not that I wasted money on Yongnuo triggers
I've used this light in the past and had to purchase my own.The upside to this light is that it enables me to use High Speed Sync when I need it to create some more moody shots. The downside to this unit is that it won't work with all trigger systems. Case in point: Yongnuo YN622-C triggers work only as manual triggers, and can not control the settings, which still have to be done manually. Not that I wasted money on Yongnuo triggers, I have to invest in the Flashpoint system to be able to control the receivers and transceivers if I want this to work from a distance without having someone controlling the shutter on the cameras end.The battery can also last about 470-500 shots on full power. Some units I've seen in the past came with faulty battery units, but it seems they've fixed this issue.Pros: Great light for the price. Portable power. Lightweight, and great build. Long lasting battery and charges within the hour. Bowens mount is a plus. Carry case is nice and spacious.Cons: Not compatible with all triggers, can't control power without doing it manually or the little control it comes with. Won't work with Yongnuo to control the strobe. Doesn't have TTL.

This strobe light worked great at first
This strobe light worked great at first... It was very powerful and I had no problems with it up until now. The Roverlight just stop working in the middle of a shoot. I thought maybe the battery had died on me but after fully charging and replacing the battery it still wouldn't power up! I purchased the strobe on Nov 30 in 2015... It stop working June 8 2016! I check the fuses and they are all good... Hoping I can get in touch with Adorama and send it off and get it either repaired or replaced! SUCKS!

Pleasantly surprised
Was pleasantly surprised by these considering the price is so much less than many out there. I've rented the ProFoto B1s several times, but couldn't afford to purchase them. These lights work really well for a fraction of the price and I love that there are no cords involved. I liked the light so much, I soon bought a second one. The battery life was good and better than expected shooting outdoors for several hours. The one thing I wish it had that the ProFoto lights have is just the handle. I feel like I have to be super careful when handling it or I might drop it. A handle would make me feel more secure.

Truly Awesome I want more
I love this light no cords def would have purchased a bowens mount soft box with it when I purchased it knowing what I know now.Cons I found is I wish it had more trigger options like HSS. Using a sync cable with my own triggers to remedy this. Heavy, and controls are not thought out there are too many variations of buttons to do what you want to do with it. For the price and what you get these are by no means deal breakers just for those picky people for this price I will be buying a lot more.GoodsCase is awesome extra room for flash units cables or what you wish you had more compartments in your camera case for and very durable/protective it is one of the best cases I have seen.great power and supports HSS (using sync cable to a HSS compatible Rex)Battery life is great I very seldom have to use it at full power if at all so I have never ran out of battery on a shoot.comes with a trigger that is good if you do not need HSS turns on most all functions and is far more user friendly than doing it from the back of the monolight. No cords makes it so easy to have a portable studio I look at my other lights and wonder why I did not find these first.

Amazing light!!
Wow. For the price this is an awesome light. I did a lot of research for weeks. Most other monolights with portable power will run about 2-3 times the price of this one. Bottom line, this is a powerful light with the ease of a rechargeable battery for easy travel around. I recently shot an all day sweet 16. This light was perfect for my taste outdoors, in very harsh sunlight with the hss feature, paired together with the phottix 27.5 inch beauty dish. I was very satisfied because I was able to accomplish the look I was after in every scene, even indoors @ the venue. The battery life is awesome. I shot about 400 shots at different power settings throughout the entire day of about 11 hrs and the battery didn't even flinch. No complaints here. Definetly planning on buying another rovelight very soon. (Note: this light is hss capable, but not with the included wireless trigger. I pair that trigger with the godox cells ii trigger for canon, which I purchased separately.

It should be a CRIME to sell this far to basic trigger with this GREAT Strobe !!
This is a awesome strobe and can go toe to toe with more expensive strobes and even outshines them in some regards due to having HSS ! But the trigger is a real let down its does the job yes Lol, but it slows your shooting down it's just way to basic for this good strobe ! So it gets just 4 stars not 5 due to the far to basic trigger SORRY!

Look no further for a portable strobe!
Pretty much the perfect portable strobe. I bought these on sale for $399 and shipped fast! Profoto's similar line (B1s) are only 500w and this thing is a whooping 600w at a fraction of the price! All the buttons are well made and the LCD is easy to read. The supplied v2 trigger work flawlessly and with the right wireless trigger, these lights can do High Speed Sync! This is a no brainer purchase if you are looking into portable strobes and also even if you are looking studio use. The battery lasts forever and if you pick up a spare, you should be good for the entire day. I can't stress enough how good this light is. Make sure to get the Bowens mount as there are a lot more modifiers in the wild than the Flashpoint one.
