Works good but has it's issues.
I needed a watch with a nigh light and pedometer to track my night run times and distance. Didn't want the fancy heart rate monitor or 24 hour sleep function to track every moment of my life. This is the 3rd watch I have purchased in the past 6 month and it is the better of the 3 but not totally satisfactory in my opinion. It does work great, isn't terribly difficult to set up, however I did have to go to their website to do the complete set up as the directions that came with it are for the "quick set up" only; the distance seems to be accurate and the battery lasts a while ( 5/6 hours until I have to charge it again). It has a night setting that keeps the light on while you are using the Run or Chrono function which is great for night runs as the illumination is so bright it adds to my night visibility. The 3 negatives: First, the back of the watch is metal and cold. I am not predisposed to feeling cold all the time, but with this watch on, I have to always put it over my sleeve or jacket to feel comfortable; Which brings me to number two: The watch is huge. Wish I known there was a "mini" version as this one is gigantic. In seeing other GPS watches, this isn't the largest one out there, but it is too big to fit under the sleeve of any typical running long sleeve shirt/jacket; Even if the back of the watch wasn't metal and cold, I would still have to put it over my sleeve to account for its hugeness. Lastly, I can't figure out how to find my saved data in the "data" function. Maybe I could figure it out if I go back online to the directions I used for the set up but haven't done so, not a huge issue. Over all the thing works for what I wanted it for but it defiantly could use some upgrades.

Great GPS watch for the price
The GPS is very accurate. It takes a while to get a signal, but all gps watches are like that. Had to look for the user manual on soleus' web page to learn how to program and use it. It's not that easy to use, but it's a matter of getting used to the watch. Another con is it's pretty big, my wrist is slim and have to buckle the strap almost all the way, but I don't mind. The back is silicon -not metal as i read in another review. The features are ok. I used to use a Garmin watch, and there are some features which I miss from my old garmin: if you program it to auto lap every km, you can't take shorter laps with the lap button while you are running; you have to stop and switch the auto lap off (can't have both at the same run, and i generally run a few warm up kms and then run short laps) . Also, you can see the pace of the current lap, but not the average pace -at least not in a simple way like the garmin watch. Another feature I miss is the fact that it doesn't vibrate when it reaches the lap distance, so if you are listening to music you might not hear the beep.Having said that, I like the watch very much, nice design, and it works great. Still cannot beleive I got a GPS watch for only $10

It's complicated
I am finding this watch much harder to use than I had hoped. I just received it and have only run with it twice, but it took me a long time to even set it up. I had to print the long version of the directions off of the website. I am trying very hard to figure out how to use it but if it proves too complicated I will be returning it. If you are good at figuring these kind of things out - then you'll probably like it for the price because it really does offer a lot of information in a small package.

Save your money! Don't bother.
This may be a good GPS watch, I'm honestly not sure. I found that it was very difficult to operate. I had to pull out the quick reference guide every time. Then one day after a run, i apparently forgot to press stop when I was done. The next time I was ready to go for a run, the time display said "full" but I was not able to delete the data. If I would have hours of free time to able to sit or YouTube how to work it, this may be a different story. I just don't think that a watch should be this difficult to use. I decided to just get arm band for my phone and use that with a running app instead. My advice if you are looking for a gps watch is just to fork over the extra money and get a garmin or a tomtom.

It's okay.... Would be better if the Instructions were more detailed....
It is very hard to find the GPS signal, which seems to be an issue with most of these watches. It doesn't keep good track, or least i can't get it to, of the course i'm running. I know the course is 7 miles which is why i tried it on this one and it measured 12 miles... way off. It's hard to get the whole watch working and the instructions are very Vague. I've had it about a week and am still trying to figure it out....

Just What I Need
While this watch doesn't offer as many options as the Garmin GPS watches, it's just what I needed for my first GPS watch. There are just enough options that I get the information I need and will actually use on a regular basis, and it's been easy to learn how to use all of the functions. Distances have been right on with my friends' Garmins when on a run. The low price point makes this a perfect option for a beginner or someone simply watching their budget.Note: The face is large and hard to wear when typing at work, so I don't wear for daily use. I think getting the smaller Soleus Mini would solve this problem, though. However, I *had* to have the pink, a color not offered in the smaller version at the time I purchased mine.

A great gps watch!
It's not overly big and bulky like most gps watches. I like that you can customize the display. The connection to Strava is great and has been extremely accurate so far with the gps signal. Very simple to set-up and use since the functionality is basic. Only down side is the battery life is only good for about 8 hours while using gps - of course much longer when the gps is off. For the price, this is a much better value than anything else out there that I've come across. If you just want the basics and a connection to Strava, you can't beat it!!

SO far so good
As of yet only used as a watch, I am not a winter running so have not use the frills of the watch. However it is, for me, challenging to figure out how to access what. I will come back when I utilize more features of my watch.
