I bought one of these a few months ago so I could more easily cut tile for my bathroom. I found it such a useful and time-saving tool that I just bought another for my daughter-in-law for her home renovation projects. This tool has a brilliant design, is durable, and while your deciding what to do next, it’s kind of fun to play with!

This product is exactly how the vendor describes it on their site. It is durable, easy to use, and functional. The price of the product is comparable to other vendor. However, I decided to go with this item due to its ability to cover small and large projects with one single tool.

I ordered this when my son was going to help me with a bathroom floor tile installation...I thought it would help. It made cutting around weird cabinet shapes and corners very easy to do. He liked it so much, he wanted to keep it. I’ll be ordering another for sure!

It’s ok and works but just spend the extra money to get one that locks in place. The pieces stick together when your trying to get the profile of something.

I have another unit from a different mfg. it uses metal pins and seems stiff and hard to set without bending the pins. This unit moves much easier. My only downside was I was hoping to get the extra holding device with it used to position the gauge in relation to the surroundings, like the demo was showing. I didn't to see it offered.

It does not go tall enough I work in construction and tried to use it on crown and it does not have the depth to get the right shape.

This was a 'happy day' surprise gift for my husband who had mentioned he wanted a duplicating gauge and he was very pleased. He was very surprised by the fact that it is 10" which adds to the versatility. We live in a 110 year old house and it will make it much easier for him to copy the trim profile since there is much to be replaced and now it will be more authentic and we can keep most of the original trim. When not being used for its intended purpose it is just as good as a fidget spinner to paly with.
