Very Well Made Clothesline
If you are looking for one of the best, if not the best values for your money, then I would highly recommend this rotqary clothesline. It is very well made and quite simple to install with a couple bags of sakrete, a little gravel and a post hole digger or shovel. This unit is very nice and well made. Yesterday, we hung out (4) loads of laundry with plenty of room to spare. There is no sag in the clothesline and it is very simple to take down or put-up. There are plenty of others out there, but I would venture a guess that they will not last as long as this one will. Great product at a great price.

Beautifully Made and a Pleasure to Use
I first saw a Hills Rotary demonstrated at a fair, and was very impressed with its features. The price gave me pause, but I finally decided to go ahead and invest in the Hills rotary after struggling with my cheap aluminum version (purchased a couple of years ago at a hardware store).Night and day! The aluminum one had sagging lines, constantly drooping under even normal loads, and could barely handle a single load of laundry. And the lines were strung in such a way that when one section sagged, they all did. The Hills rotary (medium) holds two+ full loads easily, and I don't have to worry about overloading it.The Hills has other features that I love. You can set its initial height to allow you to walk upright under it, but low enough to peg clothes without straining. Then, after you are done hanging, you simply turn the handle to lift the entire mechanism higher and out of the way. And if it is windy, you can also lock the main shaft in place so the unit doesn't rotate -- handy if you are trying to hang clothes in the wind! The lines on the Hills unit are separately tensioned, and there is no sag evident anywhere. But they do explain how to re-tension the lines should that become necessary.I am delighted with the Hills rotary hoist and am so glad that I made the investment. I have always enjoyed hanging my clothes out -- now I really look forward to it!

Better than a dryer
OK- so it's a clothesline right? Well after spending a couple of hours installing this just be forewarned you need to dig a fairly deep (2'+ ) and fill it with rocks and concrete- no big deal per se but you may also want to get a sonotube to hold the cement rather than just pouring cement into a hole and expecting everything to work out. The Sonotube keeps the whole thing standing up straight. We also added a bit of 6" DWV pipe (the white plastic stuff) to keep dirt out of the tube which the laundry pole slips into. Just put the DWV on top of the cement, around the pipe which is sunk into the ground. Putting the DWV pipe down will save you a lot of hassle as dirt can fall down the pole hole and prevent you from using the system without the DWV collar.Having now used it for an entire summer thus far- the thing is GREAT. It easily holds 3 large machine machine loads of clothes- it's like a tardis in that respect- the loads are easy to put up and take down since you don't have to move great distances to do so and it's easy to keep the clothespins nearby. The shorter lines don't stretch and sag as much as longer spans and they are relatively easy to replace. I'll be sad when it's too cold to use this and it's much preferable to the dryer.

Saving energy and a great clothesline
You will love it. Don't burn electricity drying clothes then air conditioning to mitigate all of that heat. Smell the wind on your sheets and enjoy simplicity.

Rotary clothesline by hills
This rotary line was recommended to me by friend. I find it a great item to you as you can keep it at the low hey position, or you can turn the handle to hire it if in case you have bedding that’s very long or even net curtains as it won’t drag the ground it holds a very good amount of washing and the The lines are a good distance apart, so it is very well and drives very quickly. It spins very easy. Very easy to put down and put away. Would recommend this to anybody.
