SKIL PWRCore 20 Brushless 20V 6-1/2 Inch Circular Saw, Includes 4.0Ah Lithium Battery and PWRJump Charger - CR541302

This is a complete set that includes saw, charger, and battery. Went to register on registermyskil.com and this model number for the complete set is not shown. Had to register each piece separately although serial number is the same for all three components. Manual for both charger and battery has a section heading "2 Year Limited Warranty" but the first paragraph states that it is warranted to be free from defects in material or workmanship for a period of five years from date of purchase. So what is it? Another annoying issue is it comes with a plastic extension that fits on back to attach a small vacuum hose that is too small for most shop vacs. There is a threaded hole to attach the piece to the body but the bolt/screw is missing. Tried several small threaded bolts that didn’t fit. CS sending another extension piece that they say comes with the bolt The battery charged up in less than 30 minutes. I like that it has power indicator lights to indicate charge level. Cuts most framing lumber easily by letting blade do the work. Feels comfortable while cutting. Getting a second battery 20V 4Ah will cost Over $50. That's too expensive. The idea of getting rid of the cord when using a circular saw is great. It's much easier to control the saw when you don't need to worry about the cord getting in the way or even pulling against what you are trying to do. This budget-priced Skill saw delivers what it promises. My needs are not those of a contractor, just a do-it-yourselfer who occasionally needs a circular saw. This fills that need perfectly. I also own a Skill PWRCore recip saw, so the batteries are interchangeable. I can't say how these will hold up for contractor-style regular use, but they are perfect for me.

I have used and trusted Skill products for many years ! This is the latest addition to my "arsenal" of tools. This little saw is the handiest "go to" saw I've ever had. Some companies only offer the tool alone, and the battery and charger are separate; But not so with this guy ! Saw, battery, and charger, all in one package, and priced right ! Don't think you'll be sorry with this little one. Great for framing jobs, using 2x4's, etc. One minus; I would like to see a rip guide included, but I guess it's sold separately ! Five stars !

I am impressed with this little saw. It cuts lumber just fine. Not as much power as my corded circular saw but very handy for small jobs where only a few cuts are needed or when a cord is not practical. I'm glad I bought it, I think it was worth every penny. I still haven't had to charge the battery since the initial charge and have made 15-20 cuts with it over a few months.

I like building things out of 2x4’s and 2x6’s. This saw is perfect for what I need it for. I even bring it with me to crosscut my ownlumber at the store instead of either hunting down an elusive employee or waiting in a line for cuts. I haven’t used the brushed version so I don’t know if the higher price tag reflects a major improvement in performance, but for the ~110 I paid for this, it’s a tremendous value.

Very lightweight compared to my 24 year old electric Skil. Glad it came with battery and charger. A carrying bag would have been nice but you can’t have everything.So happy that I don’t have to struggle with extension cords anymore. If you’re thinking about buying it don’t think about it anymore. You’ll be happy you did.

suprised how good the saw is all around and is quiet and has faster rpm then the makita brushless saw. blade it comes with is very good and battery is strong and the jumpcharge is handy as well. got it for just over 110 and at that price it destroys the competition for what you get. very good value for money for DIY during the rona

Who thought it would be a good ideaTo stand a power tool up on steps.. so to retrieve my tool since I was inside.. I had open my door, which knocks it off the steps.. freaking brilliant driver I hope the tool lasts
