Bernat Pipsqueak Stripes Yarn, Cotton Candy

I love this yarn! It's like crocheting a cloud. Soft & light with beautiful color and self striping too! Finished projects are warm and cuddly.

I use Bernat Pipsqueak Yarn to knit baby blankets as gifts. Everyone loves the colors and the softness. I am so unhappy that Bernat has discontinued this yarn -- it's my favorite. That's why I was so pleased to find one available on Amazon.

Absolutely love this yarn! Made the blanket I sleep with every night. So soft against my skin and it's like sleeping in a cloud! Stitches are hard to see so something not fancy is best, but it taught me to feel the stitches and not have to look at what I'm doing and just zone out into lala land and still pump out rows. Would love to make more blankets out of this

This yarn is fun to work with because of the change in colors and it is so soft. Perfect for the baby blanket I made. You must knit with it because you can not see crocheted stitches.

I've knit some things (mostly blankets) for babies, and they turn out to be the blankets that they love the most. This is definitely security blanket material!I knitted two blankets and a small swatch out of the blue Pipsqueak for my great-grandson, who is two. He pulled it out of the box and then sat on the couch holding it against his face for about an hour. I did two blankets because I knew he would love them, and this way he could still have a blanket when the other one was being washed. I've knitted blankets for other babies. The swatch is for when they go somewhere and don't want him dragging a blanket around. It could also be stuck in a handbag for emergency soothing.It knits nicely, with no worming, although you can't really see your stitches well. I've been knitting for a long time, so I knit by feel, and don't need to see what I'm doing anymore.I ordered this multicolored version of Pipsqueak for a different baby, and noticed that it's much fluffier and thicker than the solid-color blue (at least the batch I got). I had to go up a couple of needle sizes to work with it.

It is beautiful and soft. Most perfect just the yarn falls off a bit too easy. I had to cut off some pieces several times when making my blanket so I suggest buying atleast 1-2 more bundles then needed.

I have made dozens of baby blankets with this yarn. EVERYONE loves it because they are super soft, warm and easy to wash and care for. I've switched off and used other yarns occasionally and they are not as popular!! I cannot say enough about this yarn. Easy to knit and work with. Babies and adults fight over who gets to use this blanket.Seriously!

Okay - this yarn works up quite nicely when knitting (size 9). One "cake" skein can make a small crib / carseat baby blankee - 2 cakes for an extra bigger blankee. I am quite impressed with the yarn & the price. I have purchased every color that Amazon sells! I can whip out a blakee in about 5-6 hours.Huge fan of the Bernat Pipsqueak Cakes. Absolutely beautiful colors!!!!

A bit tricky to work with at first as dropped stitches impossible to find, but once you get hang of it, it knits up beautifully. Soooo sad this yarn has been discontinued and awful price to pay for the few remaining skeins.

It was great that I was able to get these through amazon, everywhere else I looked they didn’t have the colours I wanted.
