Rock On
Best club I have used. I use for shoulder mobility and strength. Grip and length are fantastic. Durability seems to be spot on for the long haul. The rubber does leave a black residue on hands in doing long sets and getting sweaty. But since I shower after who really cares. Best club on market.

Best kept clubbell secret
I was torn about writing this because these clubs are legit the best that I’ve swung. I want the best for Oates Specialties so I’m writing this review in the hopes that more folks give them a shot. I’ve bought and ended up selling clubs I’ve purchased from RMAX (now Tacfit) and Onnit and in my mind, the weight distribution, feel, and length of this brand is above and beyond. Don’t believe me? Check out weightliftingdoc on Instagram as he gives a thorough mathematical analysis of the differences and why this brand is superior. In fact that’s how I found this brand. I reached out to him through DM and he was nice enough to give me advice. I took it and now I’m adding to my collection with more Tap Bell clubs. Get them while you can. They’re fun and challenging and feel so natural through the swing. Seriously the weight distribution and length matter.

Great workout tool
The club bell is an overlooked but wonderful tool which is quite versatile. I bought one in 2011 then finally added a second in 2019, so I could do two-handed exercises. Before starting with club bells, I recommend you talk with your doctor about any work out program you plan to undertake. Also research club bell exercises. There are many on Youtube, some are categorized as Persian and Indian club exercises. Last there exists archival footage of pro wrestler, the Iron Sheikh, who in real life was an Olympian Iranian wrestler who trained with the Persian clubs, and incorporated these into his act! That said, what's a club bell good for? They are great if you do any of the following: baseball, softball, cricket, Crossfit, golf, lacrosse, tennis, racquetball, or squash. Any exercise demanding lots of rotator cuff and hip movement. Club bells are a great way to do both isolated and compound movements involving your shoulders, back, abs, hips, and glutes. Club bells are also great for general exercise.TAP makes a great product. The casing is sturdy and easy to grip - and grip strength is exactly what using it will improve. The outer coating is a soft but sturdy material. This is great for preventing dents and scratches, plus it won't damage your flooring when you set it down (Unless you drop it). There are other makers out there but TAP is a good one to use since they thought to put a coating around their clubs which protect both the club and the surfaces it touches. Many others are painted or cast iron. Paint chips and cast iron can get scathed and rusted.Last since this qualifies for Prime shipping you're saving a lot of money. Heavy items usually incur high shipping so this saves you some money.

Change it up!
I bought this club immediately after the gyms closed. It felt a little awkward at first. I bought a 15 lb club and somehow it felt just as heavy as my 30 lb kettlebell. But I suspected that it was the shape of the club that gave it a different center of gravity. Nevertheless, now I look forward to my club routine. If you have never used a club before, I strongly recommend watching videos first to make sure you are using proper form and technique. Plenty of videos on YouTube. The exercises I do with this club is certainly a welcome change to more commonly-known exercises using dumbbells or kettlebells.

Great find!
I'm just getting into club swinging. I bought some 3 lb wooden Indian Clubs about 2 years ago. I was looking to purchase some heavier clubs (meels) however, I was having a tough time finding a distributor in the US. Also, the wooden meels can get pretty expensive relative to the weight. Then I found some information on club bells. I figured that I would start relatively light. I've been lifting weights almost my entire life. However, the strength needed for club bell exercises is a bit different. I purchased a 5 KM bell and found this to be suitable for now. The club bell exercises are great for grip strength and working out your shoulders. If you lift heavy, then you know about sore joints the older you get. The circular strength acquired from club bell exercises help to relieve shoulder, elbow, and wrist soreness. I am satisfied with my Tap Bell purchase. Great product.

2kg club
Bought the 2kg club and I find it fantastic for full body athletic movements, and throwing mechanics. I prioritize speed-strength in my training with clubs, so if you're looking for absolute strength something heavier would be better. I found 2kg to be a great weight for myself, as anything heavier makes me tighten up my muscles, and I can't train the whippy and fast movement that clubs lend themselves very well to. The length of these also makes the weight distribution different than other clubs, and that's something I prefer. I'd say it's somewhere in the middle of a steel club, and a steel mace.

Be Careful
This product is a good product but if you are not familiar with them, I suggest getting a lighter weight. All the weight is obviously at the end which off sets what one is use to.

Black rubber rubs off, don't let the cone ends
I have used these clubs for about 6 months now. While the cone shaped knob at the end was no big deal initially, I have found myself less and less fond of them. I wish the design were different. While the weight is fine, the black rubber also rubs off on everything it touches so I ended up with large black smudges all over my carpet on more than a few occasions. as I work with clients, their hands would often times come away black, which they weren't all that fond of. Other than that, good price for a cheaper set of clubs.

really good product but small imperfections
REVIEW UPDATE (3rd product section and pictures)- 3rd productthe hard stickers were all bumped and fell off as soon as I took the package out the box. The overall quality of the product is great, and these are aesthetic problems, but still, for 80$, you shouldn't have this kind of issue. Still 5 star because of the overall quality- First 2 productsbest product of this kind available !only minor issue is that I need to put tenis racket tape over the handle cuz the rubber dirties my hands with dark marks... also helps protect the rubber.hope this company keeps making these for a while, cuz I plan having a few eventually !

Slightly long, but wayyyy better than others
The original RMAX clubbells are balanced exactly right. All other steel clubs I've seen and used are too short. These were a bit longer than my RMAX clubs, which makes for a longer swing phase and larger arc, but that's not a downside. At least it feels the way swinging a club should feel. I even like the construction of it. Slightly rubberized handle, which is different from the standard RMAX knurling. thumbs up

Using these is a workout like you've never experienced before
Using these is a workout like you've never experienced before. The construction of these is quite durable though they smell very strongly of rubber and it seems to persist.I'd suggest going lighter than you think you can handle for a first set. the grip required with your hand puts some interesting strain on the forearms.

High quality exercise equipment
I like that it's rubber coated - no loud clanging Im putting it down. Ergonomic grip-end is great. I use this to practice functional patterns.
