Great resistance training weights.
These hand weights are soft & easy to hold. They would be easy to transport to the gym or outside for walking. Just put them in a small carrying case with a handle. The 3 lb ones are good for me for upper body workout for the arms, biceps, triceps, & many other areas of the back & shoulders. Weight training gives good results quicker than without weights.

Good Construction and Wife Loves Them
My wife loves these. She asked for a set of "dumbbells" of a weight for her exercise and when I handed them to her she looked at me like I was nuts or didn't understand her request. It only took one use to convince her I had made the better choice. These are easy to grasp by any size hand and their "flex" makes them comfortable and usable in multiple moves in ways that standard dumbbells would not be. My impression is that they will stand up over time; the seams appear to be tight and complete and the material is flexible, somewhat stretchy, but gives the overall impression of durability. We would definitely order more of these.

Didn't love this product
Didn't love this product. Filler inside not compartmentalized enough so it shifts front to back to much. Awkward to use walking or running.

My favorite weight to hate
Im not sure what you are supposed to do with these.... they are little bags of sand. If you grab them in the middle, they sag. I thought the neoprene would be stiff enough to keep them from sagging, but sadly, no. The sand has too much room to move around on the inside, and henceforth... they sag. Who wants saggy hand weights? For a long while I just folded them over and gripped them extra hard, as they are kind of bulky this way. Finally I just took 4 black rubber bands and pinched the ends of them to force the sand together and make them rock hard. The rubber bands rarely fall off... maybe once a month with daily use. And now I have the immovable weighted hand weight I wanted. I dont like using dumbells because I am so damn klutzy that I am always unbalanced with them.I bought this as a compliment to the zon - 3 lb soft weighted bars. If zon had a 3, 5, 8, 10, 15 rack... I would have just bought those. But they dont. I like the neoprene texture as it does absorb sweat. I dont think I would recommend to a friend, nor purchase a second time. They are high quality materials for an affordable price.

Great weights
These weights are absolutely fantastic. I’ve been using them almost every day on my 5 mile walk around the local lake , And the really great to use the sand filling contours to my hands and the thick strap does not bind I recommend them without any reservations

Does the job - Just not what I was expecting
These weights work fine. They're cheaper than the other options on Amazon, which is what originally drew me to them. The only thing is, they're flimsy. Don't think you're just going to be able to put the hand straps on and release your grip. The strap will stretch instantly and the weight fill fall down. So you have to maintain a constant grip on these, which isn't always ideal.I probably would have purchased a more sturdy weight if I did it again.

Well Made.
I got these because I was looking for this type of hand weight. These are well made and look to be very durable. I really like how these fit my hand. I much prefer these over 5 lb. dumbbells for several of the exercises that I do.

Update: Reduced to 1 star from 2 stars: 5 Lb. Hand Weights leak out Beads after not much use.
The weights have become problematic. I weighed one of them which didn't appear to be leaking and it was at 4.75 pounds. The other is now at 4 pounds. The elastic strap I'm fine with because I hold onto this weight and one more while doing some exercises as 5 pounds isn't much for what I'm doing with them.As I don't RUN or JOG with them and have come to simply use them to cross over my chest the wear and tear is minimal I feel compared to what others will do with running. I think if I ran with them after one week they'd likely be decimated.-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------I read more about walking with weights and the negative impact it may have - so, I have only used these weights to do two exercises: curls while occasionally walking a short distance back and fort as well as on my back compressions. It didn't take too much time (perhaps mostly due to the compressions) for beads to start leaking out.I should note, I have no problem holding them and don't mind the strap. I hold a 3 and a 5lb weight in each hand when doing both exercises and as my hands are fairly large it's fine. My issue with the weights is the stitching around the ends likely coming undone somewhat at the seams and how little is needed for the beads to then filter their way outs and eventually cascade. They were great while they lasted (and the 3lb. weights are still working without any leaks).
