So happy to have these. Makes loading the revolver a breeze. Takes a bit of set up time in the home, to load the clips and to unload the shells from the clips. I actually had to use a small screwdriver to pop the empty shells out of the clip. There are specialized tools you can get for that purpose but the small screwdriver works, just be careful not to stab yourself with it on accident. These save me a ton of time at the range as I can quickly pop a moon clip out and load another. I recommend these!

Works perfectly in a colt .45 us army 1917. 8 clips are the best quantity because they hold 48 rounds, which is just about the full box (of 50). And they are reusable. Can you imagine buying 8 speedloaders for a .38 special?. That would set you back at least $80. The idea of using auto ammunition in a revolver has been around for at least 100 years. Seems like there should be more revolver designs to use moon clips. Especially 9mm.

Worst clips I have ever used. Will not load fully into cylinder of S&W 1917 DA45. If you only put 2 or 3 rounds into the clip they will load into the cylinder, but when all 6 are inserted into clip, forget it. Didn't pay much for them so I didn't bother returning but they are not made to spec.I have other types of moon clips, both full and half and they all work fine. These particular clips do not function in my revolver. Would not purchase again nor recommend to anyone else.

Very stiff and tight fitting moonclips. A tool is required to load and unload cartridges. While slightly more durable than the Ruger moonclips, they are easily bent, making them unserviceable.

Moon clips are great, but the opening for cartridges could be slightly wider and still hold cartridges in place. This would make it a little easier to insert and remove cartridges. I have a S&W Governor which requires moon clips to use 45 ACP rounds so without them I could only fire 45 Long Colt ammo.

Priced right, these clips fit my Smith and Wesson 625 perfectly. Eight loaded clips takes up room in the range bag though. I highly recommend the tool for getting spent cartridges out.
