Surprisingly a great value!
I'm amazed at this light! Bright, focused and so far, reliable. Time will tell on the reliability but I have another SyndeRay that has worked for 8mo on a 9mm carbine. Switch is so much better than the other version and the strobe is easy to operate and a welcomed feature. Sure, it's not an Insight or a Surefire but for <$40, what do you expect? It's reliable (so far) and performs well... no, not on my main home defense weapon but perfect budget minded light source for the backup. You can't beat the price, quality and performance of this one... hands down, the best light of this type under $50!

Save your money and get something else
Very bright light and it appeared to be well made. Then the rubber switch cover was just gone one day. I didn't even handle the light that much. I was irritated but figured it wasn't the end of the world. Then about a month after I got it I decided to take it to the range and practice shooting with it on the gun. Makes sense right.Went to the range, shot about 100 rounds with it on and everything was fine. Then I got home and noticed the light wouldn't turn on anymore. It worked perfectly before the range trip. I guess the concussion of the recoil caused a short? I don't know. The light would flicker a little if I slapped it with my hand. Then that quit working too. I even tried new batteries but that didn't help.I was already past my window to return it and now I have a $25 paper weight. You get what you pay for. I learned the hard way. $25 isn't a ton of money by any stretch but it's still $25 wasted.Save your money and buy something better.

The push button is easy to use
Very bright light!! The light has two settings constant and strobe. The push button is easy to use. Only gave it 3 stars because it wobbles on a standard metal rail but however fits snug on a plastic rail. A little on the bulky side for my taste. I have yet to test its ability to be submerged in water for waterproofing.Though only three stars it is WORTH the money if you are looking for a budget light. However for real tactical use its only mediocre - I would not depend my life on it. Just good as a civilian noncombat light.

Excellent buy for the money. Good quality. Reliability and life remains to be seen but great so far.

Super bright, great build quality
It's super bright, fits on my Beretta Px4 storm full nicely.Pros:- Super bright, it really lights up a dark room well, and has a wide directed beam that's perfect for close ranges.- Easy no-tool assembly. It slides on the rail and has a spring-loaded clip to attach it.- Easy strobe mode, you press the button fully to turn on the light, then can slightly press the button to turn on strobe mode.- Has a great build quality, all metal casings. Really good value for the price.Cons:- Cannot adjust the position of the clip, so it has a fixed position on the mount.- Non-standard battery size. But you can find them for a reasonable price and the battery life is good.

Awesome little light
Awesome little light. Arrived in 3 days. Feels strong and well made, looks good on and off my pistol (sig p250) and with its spring loaded rail mount it literally can be put on or removed in a second but feels solid when its on the gun. The on/off button is in a good spot so i can easily turn it off and on with my non-dominant hand while still maintaining a firm controlled grip, and it's pretty dang bright. I don't think there is a better light at this price point. Just buy it. and don't forget batteries because there are none included. It takes a single CR123A battery. I bought the amazon recommended 2 pack for $6 but there are plenty of options (including rechargeable) available here on amazon. Already planning on purchasing another one for other toys

THREE SHOTS AND FAILURE
Wow, How can a product be so far off the mark yet look the part? I didn't follow my instinct and return it as soon as I attempted to fit it to a standardized rail on a full size handgun and it had some play. I gave it a chance figuring that since it was bright and priced well I could jerry-rig it to fit better. Likewise, I should have tried this product in live-fire quicker so I could return it. Instead I'm stuck with this paper weight.Bottom line, I can deal with the loose fitting but I can't deal with a light that fails after 3 shots from a 9mm full-size hand gun. BTW, I did try it again with a brand new battery--no light...bummer...my loss your gain
