AVF EL204B-A Multi-Position Full Motion Long Extension TV Mount for 25-Inch to 40-Inch TV or Monitor, Black

I was worried about getting a mount that would fit in the tight corner between two huge picture windows. This looked like the ticket and I was not disappointed. Price point was right, well constructed and easy to install even after a couple of bong rips. She Who Must Be Obeyed and i have it tilted at the ideal angle and mounted it high enough that you can view it no strain from a fully reclined Laz-e-Boy.

There were some problems with this item: 1) the screws that came with the mount were 6mm and my Samsung tv had 8mm holes. In addition to that, the short screw even it they had been the right size were too short and the long screws were too long. 2) Once you click the television in place, it was near impossible to then get the tv off the mount. I had to take a long screw driver and work the plastic pieces that held the tv in place off of the metal frame. It was very frustrating and a design problem. I opted to use the extenders that came with the Samsung tv that gave me a little more room to plug in add-ons into the back of the tv. The positive about the mount is that it is very secure.

The TV Mount is very compact and nice mount for TV's up to 32" and is great if you are only looking for a tilt mount instead of an articulating or swing mount. It is also very easy to install assuming that the screws that come with the mount work for your TV. It accepts Vesa Patterns in the 75x75, 100x100 and 200x200. Having bought several TV mounts in the past, they usually come with ample screws to accommodate the different screw sizes and lengths (M4, M6 and M8). After buying a 31.5" Samsung at Costco with a 200x200 pattern, I figured that this mount would do the trick easily. Unfortunately, the screws called for M8 screws and the unit only came with 4-M4 screws and 4-M6 screws. Had this been mentioned in the product listing, I wouldn't have bothered buying the mount. In lieu of returning the mount, I had to go to Lowe's and buy (4) M8x20 screws that were also slightly longer than the supplied screws. Even if the supplied M4x16 and M6x16 screws would have fit my TV, they were too short making the supplied hardware completely worthless. Because the mount holes only accepted screws up to the M6 size, I had to drill larger holes into the metal mounting brackets in order to accept the M8 screws. Drilling through the small holes on the top wasn't too difficult, but I broke my drill bit trying to drill through the elongated slot at the bottom. I ended up widening the slots using a mini hack saw blade and file so that the M8 screws would fit. After accomplishing this, the mount was very easy to install. The tilt feature has two lock nuts on each side, which are very easy to tighten or loosen in the event that the tilt is problematic (I had no issues unlike other reviewers who complained about the tilt function). Overall, if your TV comes with M8 screw holes and you are not handy, do NOT buy this mount. If your TV comes with M4 or M6 screw holes, there is a chance that you will still need to buy longer screws at your local hardware store. If the proper hardware had been supplied, I would have given this 5 stars, but given the hassle and the broken drill bit that I now need to replace, I can't rate this as more than a 3 star.

I didn't know you had to assemble the mount. The swing arms require connecting to the wall and TV plate with pins that have screws on each end. You use two allen wrenches (included) to tighten them up. Mine didn't fit very good. Kept slipping out when tightening. The three screws to mount it to the wall are exposed as the picture shows. Be sure to use a large phillips screwdriver or you can buger the screw head and it will show. The plate on the TV uses plastic spacers between the plate and TV. These can be a bit tricky to get right to put the screws in. If I had to do over I'd probably get a different one. This one is fine though if you have some extra time to put it together.

Such a great deal! $10 to mount my toddlers TV. Now I don’t have to worry about it tipping over or fingerprints. Was easy to install and had a lot of install options for different tv’s.

Well written instructions with individually labelled parts that took only a few minutes to install. My Tv has a speaker on the bottom that sticks out about 3/4" and this fit flush against the wall perfectly. Includes spacers and plenty of different screw sizes to fit other tvs. I'll definitely keep this manufacturer in mind if I need another tv wall mount.

Good, cheap and easy. Used for a 43” Samsung. Came with the screws and spacers so I’d recommend. Take extra time to measure before installing. Lots of added workspace
