I purchased a 2-year-old potted yuzu plant one week ago. Its leaves were starting to yellow slightly, so I added 2 teaspoons of this soil acidifier to a 5-gallon pot. My soil in California 9b is naturally alkaline (pH 7), so I wanted to lower it for better growth. Since using this product, my plant has been growing vigorously, and fruit harvest is just around the corner. The package contains plenty of product, so I expect to use it for a long time. I highly recommend this soil amendment to anyone looking to adjust soil pH for acid-loving plants. I’m excited to see my yuzu thrive this spring!

I think this would work but there’s a bad smell and you’d have to really use a lot and often to make hydrangeas blue and stay blue. It’s a lot of work and I only saw a slight improvement in the color. Bag is small too. Expensive for the amount you get considering you have to keep using it. I will say my plants grew a lot after i used it so there’s quality to that growth rate.
