Decent Bag
I purchased the bag for off the body carry. The bag is generally good for this purpose.Pros:1. Comfortable for a sling bag. Obviously 2 strap backpack is more comfortable2. Fast Draw Time3. Easy to access items inside without having to take off the bag4. Works well with 3A body armor can swing it in front and boom you have protection for your vitalsCons:1. Plastic squeaking- I put some grease on it and it stopped it but its a poor design2. Probably applies to all sling bags but you can put max 5lbs before it gets uncomfortable which is a huge limitation

Great bag - just a few minor suggestions to make it better
Overall this is a great bag and I am very happy with my purchase. However, the openings for the luggage handle passthrough are only 6" wide. I have two sets of luggage, Samsonite and July, with 6.5" and 7" luggage handles, respectively. I would recommend making these openings 7.5" wide and adding velcro strips so that you could also close it off completely and use it as another concealed compartment if desired. Also, add a retention strap in the main compartment (closest to the back panel) for customers that want to store their laptop there instead. Lastly, I found a Level IIIA body armor insert at premierbodyarmor.com that is specifically designed for the Vertx Transit Sling 2.0. It would be nice if these could be purchased together or at least an information link in the product description for customers that want to add this feature.

First vacation trip, did very well for EDC
Ran this bag on a family vacation to the mountains of Utah. It doubled as a laptop bag for the airline flights, and EDC/CCW for around town and hiking. Worked great in both roles. I used it as a laptop bag with some TSA approved EDC items on the flights to and from my destination. Once at my destination, I dumped the laptop and added my non-TSA approved CCW/EDC items for hiking and in-town activities. Some minor improvements could easily make this 5 stars.Would have gotten a 5 star if...1. The quick disconnect buckle didn't squeak so bad. It gets loud and quite annoying after a few miles.2. The loop (female velcro) straps in the front compartment should completely cover the inside, end to end.3. The "sling attachment" (loop) inside the CCW pocket is a potential snag point when drawing. I cut it off so not a big deal.4. The stabilizing strap could be a little longer. It worked but not much slack. Bigger guys than me may have an issue.5. So it DOES fit my 14" dell in the main compartment, size wise, but it could benefit from(a) an actual pocket, slightly padded, instead of the strap and clip to hold the laptop in place.(b) some padding at the bottom of that pocket to keep the laptop safe when you set the bag down on hard surfaces. This bag could almost be a CCW and a laptop bag, both at one time if Vertx made these two tiny changes. For now it is really one or the other, not both.

Absolutely perfect size for everything you would need in everyday life and everything you might need…as long as your good at bringing the essentials, otherwise next size up might work better for you, but it’s basically a full back pack

Great edc bag
Overall I really liked the construction and quality of this bag. I've used a ton of different brand bags and so far this is one of the best I've seen. The design on this version however needs a bit of work in my opinion. The quick access pull on the CC pocket is a bit ridiculous in size and not subtle. Next is the lack of a compression straps. The bag even when empty has a huge side profile which I think looks awkward and tends to bump things. Next is the front flap/pocket thing. I guess if you want to carry a helmet (but really who is going to carry a helmet in their EDC? and if you're going to carry a helmet then why buy a vertx which is supposed to look non tactical). This pocket has webbing and velco which alone are kind of worthless. Overall organization and pockets are a bit limited but they give lots of fuzzy places to purchase and add on pockets and bags and holsters. But really if you go that route it's a whole new price point to consider. Don't get me wrong, this is one of the best made and highest quality bags I've considered for my EDC. The size is perfect and it doesn't look super tactical which is a huge bonus. Other than those few things it's a great bag for an EDC and a great option to consider.

Go-to bag
Medium sized bag that’s got some trade offs. Main reason I purchased this bag was for off body carry and the bag is set up great for that. Plenty of real estate in the CCW compartment to carry full sized handgun + a couple mags. The main storage compartment is roomy - can fit an iPad Pro 12” but it’s lacking in organizational pockets. It’s got a small zippered pocket and a few pen slots but that’s about it. It’s got another small compartment in the front that has a quick pull tab. But again is lacking in organizational pockets. Good thing is You can purchase aftermarket hook and loop panels and attach them to all compartments to set up the bag to your preference. You can get the tactigami line or maxpedition makes some as well. Overall a good bag but takes some investing in organizational pockets/inserts to make it usable for the everyday use to the average person

Great bag poor customer service.
About this bag is every day use concealed carry. The set up is excellent for that purpose. I could use a little more organizing pockets. I tried to contact the company to get information on organizing pockets and they just said they don’t list anything. Now they will not get back to me with a response. Poor Customer Service.

Not perfect but good for most.
I needed a bag smaller than the commuter. And this one fit the bill. It functions well and is well made. I came across a couple oddities shown In the pictures. The buckle has a pad that always flips down and ends up being irritating. I sewed it further up along the strap to correct that. The second is the terrible loop placement I kept getting hung up on in a compartment that should have unhampered access. Not a big fix, I cut that out. The last part im having trouble getting over is why a bag with a lot less material and tech cost more than the bigger bag. Other than these three things this bag is perfect.
