Z23 Performance Brake Pad & Rotor Kit Front & Rear K7574

After years of searching for the right brake setup for my 10th-generation Honda Civic, I can finally say I’ve found exactly what I was looking for! I’ve tried several well-known brands over the years, including Brembo and Zimmermann, combined with different brake pads. Unfortunately, none of those combinations performed consistently under the demanding conditions of my driving style. My biggest problem was always the same: during repeated hard braking, the brakes would get extremely hot, and noticeable vibrations would develop through the steering wheel. The hotter the brakes became, the worse the vibrations got. There can be several reasons for this, including uneven pad material deposits, thermal distortion, and changes in friction characteristics at high temperatures. Whatever the exact cause, it was incredibly frustrating. One of the limitations of the Honda Civic X is its relatively small brake rotor diameter, which doesn’t provide much thermal capacity for repeated high-speed braking. I regularly drive on German autobahns, where situations sometimes require slowing down rapidly from 190–200 km/h (118–124 mph) to around 110 km/h (68 mph), particularly when other drivers unexpectedly change lanes. With my previous brake setups, braking hard from those speeds would often cause immediate steering wheel vibration, especially once the rotors were hot. Then I installed this PowerStop brake rotor and pad kit on both the front and rear axles, and the difference was remarkable. For the first time, I genuinely enjoy how my Civic brakes! The braking feels strong, smooth, predictable, and consistent. Even after repeated heavy braking and significant heat buildup, I haven’t experienced the vibrations that plagued my previous setups. What impresses me most is that this isn’t just a first impression. I’ve now driven approximately 20,000 miles (32,000 km) with this setup, and the brakes have continued to perform exceptionally well. No steering wheel shaking, no noticeable heat-related vibration, and consistently satisfying braking performance under the conditions I’ve experienced. Of course, no brake system is immune to overheating or brake fade, and driving conditions always matter. But compared with everything I’ve previously installed on this car, this combination has performed significantly better for me. I also appreciate the appearance of the drilled and slotted rotors behind the wheels. My conclusion: If you own a 10th-generation Honda Civic and are looking for a brake setup that can handle demanding driving better than typical replacement rotors and pads, I strongly recommend considering this PowerStop kit. After 20,000 miles, I’m genuinely impressed. I only wish I had discovered it sooner! Five stars. Absolutely worth it!

Son una basura no sirven al poco tiempo de que las puse mi carro empezó a temblar cada vez que frenaba lo lleve al mecánico y me dijeron que las discos estaban torcidos que tenia que remplazarlo.. Entonces llame para ver lo de la garantía por que según tiene 37 meses de garantía Pero lo único que dijeron que no había garantía si se torcian que tenían que averse quebrado .. definitivamente no lo recomiendo en muy poco tiempo se doblaron y tuve que comprar otros por que no se quisieron hacer remposables para que ponen que hay garantía si no van a cubrir no hacerse responsables.

Just installed on my 2019 Honda Civic sport hatchback. All the parts were included and bonus for extra parts and grease that were included. Have driven on these for around 5k miles with no issues. Great breaking power, and not any louder than stock. Easy to install and everything fit perfectly on my car. Great option for a very reasonable price.

This review is based on a 10th Gen-Civic Touring (2018). For those of you looking to do some DIY for your car, to make it safer and more efficient - look no further. The Z23 is perfect if you want to keep OEM break calipers, and not shell out 3.5k for BREMBOS. This doesn't come near at all performance of BREMBOs alone, but for your daily driver and average person - THESE MAKE A BIG DIFFERENCE. So long as you have properly brandished your breakpads and breaks, you will notice your breaking power change compares to OEM rotors/pads or flat rotors. The Civic Touring itself, comes with vented rotors. With the Z23 kit you gain slots, drills, and keep the Vents. For those who track or race as I do in a stock, you will definently notice the break power change. However please note, since it is a HONDA, you will need a japanese import screwdriver. I reccomend a powerful impact tool with sockets to bend and extent reach. The Calipers on the back are on with blue locktite. Not only this, you MUST MAKE SURE you properly reset and set your EBRAKE (Torx E11 Female). If you dont, replacement units are 400$ + installation. Though all in all, these are extremely great upgrade from OEM breaks and rotors for a daily!

Fit my 2018 Honda Civic LX fine! No brake noise or squealing. Will update if I have any issues. As of now, all good!
