Right device for the job
Bought this for my grandson in college. Said it was exactly what he needed and wanted. I, personally, don’t know anything about these devices. Sorry I can’t be more help. I just know it’s working great for him.

Pirated design according to JYETech
According to JYETech this product is counterfeit. Here is the response when trying to upgrade the firmware:Thank you for contacting JYETech. Unfortunately, the PID you provided was an identified counterfeit PID. The board you purchased is a fake DSO Shell that pirated JYETech design. We're sorry there will be no activation code for this PID.

Stay Away!
This is junk. It is completely useless for any testing. Cannot get consistent results, not even to check DC voltage.

It is NOT an assembled machine. It is a collection of parts
False description as an assembled oscilliscope. It is a collection of parts. Waste of my time and Amazon's time to send this.

No work
When you turn it on you start to see letters on the screen, but then the screen remains white.
