Dewalt DC330/DCS331 Jig Saw Tool Case # 581580-03 by BLACK+DECKER

Purchased Dewalt DCS334B Brushless Jig Saw and needed a hard case. This one fits my DCS334B perfectly. I can leave a blade in and a 2AH cell attached with a perfect easy fit into the case. With the 4Ah or larger, there is 1 area where I can trim 1 small piece of interior plastic a small amount. This will then allow blade, Jig Saw and larger cell to easily and securely lock into place. Although I most likely will not store with battery inserted. Case is exactly like all other Dewalt cases and storage bins recently purchased on Amazon. Same quality in todays standards. I have a case purchased for a Dewalt drill in 2005 and yes, those latches are only slightly better, but not enough to be a concern. All newer Dewalt cases come with the newer style latches that work perfectly. Plenty of room in this full sized case for Jig Saw, Charger, extra cells and Dewalt blade package (in plastic holder). Case still has the typical Dewalt hard case area to store product manual. There are 2 plastic ears on inside upper left area of top lid. I put manual and receipt in plastic zip lock and slip it into the tabs in the top. That way all the info I need is always with the tool. Perfect Case for my Dewalt, in brand new condition.

I like the case, very heavy-duty and glad I got It, but it was so-o-o pricey. I needed it though and it matches the hard plastic case that my drill and driver set came with years back. It is a larger case though which surprised me. My saw is a DCS334 Model (not the model the case description indicated, but it fits the case fine---at least once I figured out how to position it,

The media could not be loaded.  You can see where I had to remove one tab where the trigger is it does not have any affect on closing. All the questions what will fit and won’t. This is a DW317 VS orbital jig saw 1” stroke 25mm corded not battery which the case is originally made for. If you don’t want to remove the tab and you have a corded jig saw then don’t buy it. It works perfect for me I have no problem but my saw is dewalt so I do not know if it will work with other corded manufacturers saws.

A solid case for the bare jigsaw tool (which just comes in a cardboard box).The one I received looked like it had been sitting in an open warehouse for a few months, as there was a caked on layer of dust that I had to spend some time wiping off to get a 'new' look... thus the four stars instead of five.But I'm willing to pay $30-40 for a nice hard case for the tools I know will last many years. It would be nice if this came with the Jigsaw, but I'm okay with having the option of choosing my own case, and if you're buying DeWalt tools, you're already used to paying a little extra for things you get free elsewhere :)

I purchased this DeWalt hard case for my DeWalt DCF334B 20v Jigsaw. Even though this model was not listed as one that the case had been designed for, I decided to give it a try. I was pleased to find that it fit perfectly in the case without the battery attached. There is still plenty of room in the case to store the battery, extra blades with room to spare. On the pricey side, but good choice.

The case I received is of a lower quality than I have purchased elsewhere. The latches are flimsier and the logo is sloppy and is far from the crisp logo that is present on the other Dewalt tool cases I have purchased from local Dewalt dealers.Had the quality been normal, I would have given it 4 stars because a 5ah battery does not fit in the case when mounted to the DCS331 Jig Saw. A 4ah (or smaller) would fit fine.

Item is as described and fits my DeWalt Cordless Jigsaw and a few accessories very well. It's just more money that it's really worth. Next time, I'll simply buy a canvas tool bag sufficiently sized to hold the product. I would consider this a luxury purchase and clearly not worth the price charged.

I bought a Dewalt Jigsaw *DC5331B" and needed a case. It fits perfectly in this case with the battery and a charger.Seems sturdy enough. Much better than putting it in a bag or box to store or carry, Would recommend.
