Bought this product to replace one that stopped working after many years service.The old one was only about 75% efficient, this one is 100%.The cats hate it and no longer come near the garden.The only complaint I have is that the solar charging doesn't work very well & I need totake it indoors to charge every month. I suggest you don't install it in a fixed positionto make charging easier.Highly recommended.

I have been troubled by up to 5 fox cubs digging out and trampling plants in containers. Once I'd worked out how to use it - instructions are a translation and rather strange - I placed the repeller in front of my patio - about a metre away and facing down the (30m) garden. Easy to set up and turn on. Rechargeable batteries, charged by solar cell (USB charging lead also supplied). No idea how long they last. I've had the device for only one week. So far so good. From the first night after setting it up, no foxes or fox cubs on my patio - plants undisturbed. The foxes still come in to the bottom of the garden, but tend to stay away from the patio (near the scarer). I do wonder if they might get used to it, as I spotted 3 cubs edging closer this morning. Time will tell. Feel this has been a worthwhile experiment, even to get a week or so's respite from the chaos the foxes can cause. I can say that it is effective, but can make no claim or prediction on its long-term usefulness. Next door's cats definitely don't like the device, and won't sleep on the path near it any more, but sit up on the wall and glare at it.

Review update number two.It has now failed completely.there is zero life of any kind in the unit.I can not recommend it as a solution to cats defecating in your gardenEight months since installing it in my garden and the cats now walk straight past and poo wherever they want.It still flashes but maybe the 3 local cats are now all deaf :-(I had cats constantly coming in my garden and using it as a toilet they've not been back since I installed this it's very sensitive and does a great job and being solar powered means I never have to bother about batteries so it looks as though it's got the job of permanent garden Guardian

The cats still don't take any notice of the thing and, the batteries run down quickly at this time of year

Due to the location of our bird feeding station we decided to go for a sonic device. So glad we chose this one. It covers a very large area, is a good design and definitely works. We have watched the local cats go out their way to avoid it. We also have a lot of trouble with badgers digging in the grass and altering the frequency every now and then overnight does seem to deter them. The facility to charge the unit with a USB socket is extremely useful too. Highly recommended.

The batteries supplied are poor quality. I bought 3 units and 2 of them had failed to fully charge after 24 hours through the USB charger. The posts are weak and do not have a pointed end so are difficult to stand in anything other than wet ground.

So I got it as I have pigeons trying to nest on my balcony. I was so sceptical buying it, I still haven't binned the box. Admittedly, since I got it a couple of weeks ago, not a single pigeon landed on my balcony. I had a couple sit on the railing but they never actually got on the balcony floor and into my pots, where in previous years it was not uncommon for the birds to even get in the flat they are so cocky.

I was completely at the end of my tether. No matter what I tried, I simply couldn't keep the foxes out of my garden. I have decking, which apparently they are very fond of burrowing under. They were digging holes and coming in under the garden fence, and no matter what I tried (chili powder, bricks, urine) they just kept coming back night after night. They as good as destroyed the decking it and it was not enjoyable to be woken up in the middle of the night by them (they're noisy, too). Plus, I didn't enjoy going out there every morning to clear away the droppings and the food wrappers.So I didn't exactly get my hopes up when I ordered this item - I just felt I had nothing to lose. It was reasonably priced, so i thought why not? It arrived quicker than I expected, so I set it up (it's easy to use) and put it out in the garden. And you know what? It had no effect whatsoever. The foxes were back that night. I brought the device in and charged it - for a long time. It took hours for it to be fully charged. I then put it back out, set the frequency and the sensor accordingly and prayed.No foxes came in to my garden that night. I could sleep! No more poop! No more litter! It's made such a difference already. And the best thing is that it's solar powered so I haven't had to keep it recharging it. It's been two weeks now and I'm happy with it so far. Still, we'll see what happens after a month or two. Call me a cynic, but believe me, foxes ALWAYS seem to find a way. But, so far, so good.

Ich habe das Ding zur Abwehr der Füchse im Kleingarten bestellt.Die Tiere haben fast keine Scheu mehr vor Menschen und verwüsten regelmäßig die Terasse... offensichtlich Jungtiere mit Spieltrieb zudem markieren die ihr Revier ...und das stinkt.Am Freitag kam das Ding an und ich habe es gleich ausprobiert.Der Fuchs, der in der Dämmerung kam lief ca .mit 1,5 Meter Abstand zu mir durch den Garten. Das Ding löste aus...blitzte und es war ein leiser Piepton zu hören...Der Fuchs war nicht im Geringsten gestört und zeigte keinerlei Reaktion.Das Ding geht zurück

Los gatos en cuanto escuchan la frecuencia se van rápidamente.Como punto negativo diría que el sonido es perceptible por las personas y puede llegar a ser molesto.
