Think Twice; Lowepro Flipside 200 is a MUCH better option for actual use
Having purchased both bags and spending hours around the house packing, unpacking, adjusting, wearing, adjusting again, wearing again... these are my reflections.First, Amazon gets a 1.5 star on this one. I returned it. When I asked the Amazon Rep what the cost of return would be she enthusiastically affirmed it would be free. I was pleased, but questioned this unexpected reply and she stated, "returns to Amazon are always free." Yay! Then $6.xx was deducted from my refund. This is Not Free. I wasn't expecting free and knowing the cost would not have changed my decision, but I am royally displeased with the misinformation. I'll refrain from elaborating further, but with This, I am most unhappy. The Bag - For me, actual use of the bag is a 1 star. I am a 5'3" small-framed woman. There is No arrangement of the straps and their numerous adjustment that could make this bag wearable. This bag is simply not designed for a woman. My husband, who is 6', also found the bag to be uncomfortable. We both found the straps made you feel like you'd been tied up and swinging the bag around for access was awkward for both of us. The access is side access. The Lowepro's access is from the back (with a waist strap to access while wearing the bag) which makes it more secure.Still, I gave the bag 3 stars in the balance... If you truly want a side-sling, this would be a good choice. (Must say here that the Lowepro is convertible from Backpack to Left OR Right sling... but consider your use as the Lowepro's sling configuration is good for carrying, but not as secure for shooting). Construction seemed good. The tripod strap is adequate (not as good in placement or confidence in its attachment as Lowepro 200). I Love the built in Rain Hood (a feature shamefully Lacking in the Lowepro). Organization and compartments are excellent (maybe slightly superior to Lowepro, but Lowepro's are slightly more secure). The usable space of the Case Logic is somewhat larger than the Lowepro 200. The Case Logic is good Storage, but not actual Use in the Field.

Well made bag
The main access zipper to the camera pocket isn't as large as the pocket, makes it a little difficult to extract the camera, etc. Very nice bag otherwise, sturdy material and zippers, quality construction. Just right for a small DSLR, extra lens, batteries and accessories. Overall, very happy with it.

Another well thought out Case Logic product that's Great for light travelers.
Really loved this case. I was a bit out of love with my DSLR. Having to switch lenses, and carying it around all day with my old pack was a pain. This bag is really well though out. I wasn't initally searching fro a "sling" style bag, but really appreciated that feature after I took it on my trip. The padding on the sling is good enough not to hurt your shoulder after several hours of use. I love products like this that are really well thought out. Little things that you dont think about such as the clip for the support strap being attached to a movable cord that has some bungie give to it was great. It makes it really easy to slide under your arm and get at your other lense. Its small enough to get into most tourist attractions. the iPad slot makes it viable as my "Personal Item" to take on the airplane. With this bag I took my roll aboard bag, and this and nothing else.I fit an iPad 4 with case plus a Nook Glowlight with case in the ipad pocket. Things were snug, but they fit no problem. The top compartment fit my Maui Jim sunglasses case plus a few accessories no problem. My Nikon D40 plus two lense fit great. I used the extra pocket in the main compartment to stow a gopro plus an telescoping mount. The Rain cover came in handy on my trip as well.

MADE FOR RUN AND GUN FILMING
This backpack is made for run and gun type of filming. It has 3 compartments built within the sling bag. The very top is made for small items like phone and food bars, the side compartment is made for a DSLR, roughly the size of an EOS 60D (for my case), with extra space for things such as batteries, mics, and or lenses. For me I have I am able to fit 1 DSLR, 3 batteries, 2 RODE mics, and an SD card pack. The last compartment is on the very back that's made for a small tablet like an ipad mini. The bag also contains 2 straps on the side to strap a small tripod, monopod, or steadicam and a raincover that's located underneath the bag. The bag seems to have a couple handles located on the bag and on the strap itself. Personally, I find it quite helpful.Overall, the bag is definitely worth the buy since I like to do run and gun filming. If you are looking for a bag that can fit a laptop or a larger tablet, I suggest looking at other bags as this bag is only able to fit a pad as big as an iPad min.

Awesome sling bag that is comfortable to carry all day.
I have used and own quite a few camera bags but this is by far my favorite. The sling is extremely comfortable with the padding on the back with great compartments. I can fit a Canon 6D w/ 24-70mm F2.8 attached and a 430EX II flash in the main compartment. The top compartment is great to hold additional items such as a snack bar, battery charger and batteries. I like the memory card pockets which makes it easier to organize your SD cards. The back pouch is rather small so an iPad fits perfectly. The rain cover which is stored under the bag is a great benefit as you won't know what weather conditions are when you travel with your camera gear. I really like this bag and I have recommended this sling to others. I'm looking forward in taking this bag to travel abroad with me later this year.

Pretty good for it's intended use.
It's a clever design and holds just the right amount of equipment for travel photography. It isn't so easy to get the camera out without taking it off each time which is a negative, and not the most comfortable because of the strap that crosses your chest. It also slides around even with that cross piece, but it's the best case I've found so far. I wonder if a belt holster might still be better for the camera along with a standard back pack for the rest of the lesser used equipment. I end up holding the camera in my hand too often.

Review
Thanks to all those that gave reviews on this bag, as they helped me make my mind up. The item description is good plus the pictures. There is also YouTube videos showing off this bag. All useful to help you decide. The delivery was good. Ordered on a Wednesday evening , arrived Friday morning. The bag, as others have described, is well put together. Well stitched , good materials, feels that it wlll last a long time. One thing to note is that there are 3 sizes to this bag model. Dss101 being the smallest .Being 5ft 7in ,this bag size suits well when slung on the shoulder. If your a much taller individual a bag this size may look like your holding a child's bag, something to note. Some small gripes are that you can only sling this bag over your left shoulder. The design does not allow the bag to sit on your right shoulder. When worn correctly it does feel very comfortable. Also I cannot fit my ipad into the dedicated tablet space, without first taking it out of its protective case. And finally there does not seem to be any other colour except black. These are just minor gripes, overall this bag does what I want it to do and I 'm happy with that.Happy shopping

Love this bag!
I absolutely love this bag, ideal for our Olympus EM10 but too small for a big DSLR, imho. Very comfortable to carry and good quality. Could do with a few more small zip pockets.

Well constructed and useful
Great quality although bag slightly on the small side. If you have a full DSLR with lenses, suggest you consider a slightly larger bag unless you want to travel light. Still a good product and would recommend.

good camera bag
I have used this product for over a year now and its still in excellent condition. It is very compact, but offers good protection for your camera.

Quality but small
Ordered and returned, I like the build quality. It's solid and robust but the top compartment was tiny and it felt awkward with my tripod attached to one side. It's probably not an issue with the larger models though. I bought the kata 10 sling as this was bigger internally.
