Bought for 2014 cx5 2.2 AWDFitted in about an hour working straight away and is 11 not 10 as expected..both carplay and android auto work perfectly from wired or wireless connection have added dab using USB and window ariel dabz downloaded working great......controls work fine steering wheel ok but limited on centre joy wheel lol. Very impressed adding ocd2 tonight .....has power up mute and off popping but easy fix with delay switch .Can only say take the risk far less than equivalent main stream and they are all made in china too ......will update as experience increases.

I was surprised when the package arrived, I had ordered this based on Android 10 but received Android 11, score! The install was super easy, I have put Chinese head units in several of my cars over the years and they are all very similar. This unit for my 2013 Mazda CX-5 came with all the proper adapters which is truly amazing. The steering wheel controls, usb ports antenna, everything plug and play and worked without any tweaks. My only issue is my Mazda has wiring for a factory sub and the Dasaita has the rear Jack's to match. Naturally I hooked them up not realizing there wasn't an amp so no audio! It took me about 15 minutes to realize what happened and pull the unit out and disconnect the rca cables. Right away perfect sound. I did have one other issue that was driving crazy, no matter what I tried the unit was stuck on Shanghai/China time. It took 4 emails to resolve, the 3rd email said it was a bug with Android 11 and if I would be patient they would have a firmware update in a week, the 4th email came 20 minutes later with the update! Simple download to a USB stick and plug into the unit. Now everything is 100 %. It looks like a factory unit, the trim matches the car and Dasaita was amazingly fast to resolve the firmware issue. I have always had good luck with these type units so I don't expect any issues with this one either but if I do I will update this review. So far my favorite install yet!!!

Ich habe den Radio in einem Mazda CC-5 2014 eingebaut.Kurz: Der Radio funktioniert sehr gut. Sogar der Joystick funktioniert zum Teil, die Knöpfe rund um den Joystick funktionieren alle. Was nicht funktioniert:1.) Beim Zurückfahren wird (ohne Rückfahrkamera) kein Abstand angezeigt (beim frontal auf ein Hindernis zufahren schon),2.) Der Reifendruck wird nicht dargestellt. Liegt scheinbar daran, dass der Radio einen Sensor erwartet, den der CX-5 2014 nicht besitzt. (Nimmt per ABS den Druck ab)3.) Notifications werden nicht im Dropdown-Menü angezeigt. Das stört vor allem bei Google Maps Navigationen im HintergrundAlle „Fehler“ sind mit Vorbehalt, vielleicht habe ich einfach noch nicht die richtige Einstellung gefunden. Da ich aber im letzten Auto ein Android 8 Model eines anderen Herstellers hatte, denke ich bereits etwas Erfahrung mit Android Radios gesammelt zu haben.

This has unit seems to turn on maybe half the time. It's pretty great, when it works. I've looked at many installation and trouble shooting videos and forums, and this seems like a waste of time, unfortunately.

EDIT 4/7/22: I decided to keep the unit after figuring out one of the wiring issues and getting the backup camera to work. I did have to break off the left plastic clip to make it fit into my 2014 dashboard but the top clips and bottom brackets keep it in place firmly enough after reinstalling the trim.Some other updates:-I was able to disable the zlink carplay connection which has helped me use this as a normal Android unit. The zlink connection was absurdly slow and unreliable - if you are buying this specifically for Carplay I’d pass.-Still getting antenna feedback/interference for standard radio stations. The native radio app sucks and will constantly forget my preprogrammed stations; does not display any digital radio info (song names, album art, etc). Don’t listen to the radio enough to make this a dealbreaker.-The native bluetooth music app (A2DP) is lackluster and only displays song name/artist without any art or ability to scrub through the song. It does not support split screen so you’re stuck looking at a boring blue screen taking up the full display - desperately looking for a new one but haven’t found anything yet.Original 1 star review 3/23/22: Reading the reviews, it sounds like there is a "new" model of this that ships with Android 11. Unfortunately this version has a clip on the left side of the bracket that does not work with the 2014 trim, so it cannot be installed flush with the dashboard without breaking off the plastic clip.Other issues I encountered that I'm not going to bother with since the unit won't fit in my dash:- I could not get the backup cam to work no matter what I tried. I am confident all of the wiring is correct and I tried several different combinations that just gave me a yellow error icon, so it must be a software issue.-The radio antenna creates a whining noise on every station I tested. Some kind of electrical wiring interference? Could not get it to go away no matter how carefully I arranged the wires.-Unable to disable carplay? Car automatically connects to my iphone via bluetooth and brings up their "zlink" carplay app which straight up sucks. When it connects over zlink, the system turns off the wifi and doesn't allow me to use my phone as a hotspot. This makes every other app outside of the carplay 3 (maps, spotify, phone) completely useless without an internet connection.-Loud speaker feedback sound when turning the car off. Again, some kind of wiring interference that I could not fix and gave up after the 30th time of turning my car on/off again.Might work perfectly fine on the 2015-2016 CX-5 versions, but keep this away from your 2013-2014!

Habe das Radio für meinen Mazda CX-5 bestellt, und bin sehr überrascht trotz meiner Zweifel daes verschiedene Meinungen über das Radio gab sprich, kommt aus China u.s.wTatsächlich ist das Radion einfach nur Klasse die Lenkradbedienung funktioniert so wie versprochenund auch der Service und persönliche Kontakt war innerhalb von 24 Stunden erledigt,so das meine Fragen sehr Zeitnah beantwortet wurden. Ich kann das Radio nur empfehlen und würde es immer wieder kaufen.
