I was very pleased with this product. I have issues with many eye makeup products due to having sensitive and watery eyes. This product was awesome!Not only did it survive a whole day of me occasionally rubbing my eyes, but it didn't smudge or smear like crazy. Unlike other cream eyeliners I have worn, It also did not irritate my eyes. While it would be nice if the included brush were an inch or two longer, the bristles are soft enough to not be irritating. I definitely liked the fact that there was a brush included, as I prefer not to use the same brush for multiple colors of eyeliners and I regularly forget to wash them between applications.I loved that the color was clearly brown, and didn't look black when applied using a thin line. Other cream liners I have tried looked black, regardless of the actual color, unless I used a much thicker line then I generally would.This product can definitely be considered water resistant. I actually applied it to the back of my hand to see how many hand washings it took to remove it fully. I was pleased that even with soap, it took 5 hand washings to fully remove it. Yet it was easily removed with a little makeup remover.Another definite plus: unlike other similar products, I did not notice this flaking or caking around my eyes during the day as it slowly wore off. I have had issues in the past with having flakes of eyeliner ending up in my eyes, and being very irritating. It was definitely a relief to discover this did not do that.All in all, a great product, especially for the price! The container is small, but definitely an adequate amount since you should only use the product for 6 months after opening it. I'm looking forward to receiving my order with additional colors to play with.

E.l.f. Studio Cream Eyeliner (Black) elf I was a little apprehensive about trying a cream eyeliner but the price was such that I was willing to give it a try. I am a teacher and need an eyeliner that can withstand the rigors of students, classroom and playground. It is impossible to touch up makeup during the day. Since I don't use dark eyeliner on my waterline, I bought this specifically for my upper lash line to create a cat eye and possibly for my lower lash line. The product was shipped promptly (within 2 days since I have Amazon Prime) and fully intact. The container is small and plastic instead of glass, which is a plus, especially for travelling. The product color is a true black. It is creamy but yet not so creamy that it slides around or runs. It comes with a decent slanted eyeliner brush but I used my bent brush from bdellium since I am not that adept at eye liner to begin with. I was hoping a cream would be easier to work with than a liquid and I was right! It went on smoothly and precisely, without a hitch, no stray marks or globs. It takes a very small amount of product to line both upper lids. I have very oily skin and it didn't smudge, run or melt off even in 98 degree Texas heat! When it rained this past Sunday, my 3 year old wanted to play in the rain and of course I couldn't refuse such a fun request. I was soaked after splashing around with him and pleasantly surprised when I glanced in the mirror and saw it was still intact. It never smudged, ran, or dissolved under those conditions either. You will need eye makeup remover to wash it off, as it is very waterproof (but this is what I want out of an eyeliner) and rubbing harshly on your eyelids is not something anyone should be doing. I originally bought this to see if I liked cream eye liner in general and planned to buy a more expensive and/or bigger brand name product if I liked it. There is no need for that now as this has proved to be such a quality product. This will definitely be a repeat buy, although this small container will probably last me a long time. The price and quality are unbeatable and I highly recommend this!

If you are experienced with make-up and know what you are getting into, this is a great product. I would not recommend it for beginners–14 year old me would have cried after her second attempt to apply and remove the eye liner, if she hadn't given up on the first try. Being more experienced with makeup through years of trial-and-error use (I'm 21 now), I was satisfied with this product. I am not much of a makeup connoisseur compared to some of the women I know–my collection is mainly drug store bands, accompanied by the occasional Sephora or Ulta purchase for something specific I have found and liked.I found the black to be a true, dark black, and the creme went on smoothly and didn't smear, spread or end up all over the place as I fear softer eyeliners may.The included brush isn't perfect for its purpose–I have a nicer creme eyeliner brush from Sephora that I would use next time–but it got the job done. It might have been hard to stick with this brush if I was trying to do a very minimal line. I could see how one could easily get a bit too much of the product applied, which would lead to smearing, but if you don't use too much, it sets on application and doesn't run away.There was some eyeliner globs on my lashes after the first application, which seemed like they would have been hard to avoid, but they would have blended with mascara easily enough so that it shouldn't have mattered. It didn't get anywhere else on my eye lid, thank god, or it would have been messy to remove.

Angled brush that comes with the eyeliner is incredibly small bit very easily creates a desired wing, also use as an eyebrow pomade (in moderation) to match the deeper shades of ginger in my hair. Product will dry out if left opened and becomes unusable (as I found out with my first purchase)
