Better grip.
More secure grip on small LC9. Thats all I have to say about that.

Talon Grips, Ruger EC9s
I really needed some extra purchase for my Ruger EC9s, and these worked perfect. I've been weary of putting these grips on any of my nicer pistols, but after using this on the beater, I'm mildly surprised. The fit was perfect, and the adhesion is really good. Installation was a bit of a bear, but it seems like the better you prep and plan, the better the install goes. Make sure you have a hairdryer, and your fingers will be sore the next day from all the pressing, but the results are absolutely worth it.

Easy to install, feels great
These were very easy to install. Easier than vinyl wraps that I get for my firearms/magazines. All cuts are made for the specific firearm you have, so pay attention to the grips you are buying (don’t mistakenly get the grip tape for the LCP, for example).Tape was easy to line up with the markings on the grip, although the circular cutouts for the Ruger emblem do not line up perfectly unless you stretch out the tape just a bit (I left it as-is because with my luck I would have stretched out the tape TOO much).Tape is like a lot of firearm/magazine vinyls; you can peel it off multiple times and reapply if you aren’t happy with your work. Once you get it just how you like it, apply heat and work all contours to make sure tape forms to the textures of your firearm.I opted for the rubber tape. I would have preferred the granulate (sandpaper) tape for the best friction/grip but I carry inside my waistband. A common complaint about the sandpaper version is that if carried under your shirt the grip will rub your skin raw.

It would be hard to get this good a result DIY
Mine are the rubber version. A good compromise, I think, between being able to carry next to your skin or under clothing and not have the gun "grab" your shirt and highlight that you are carrying as opposed to the best possible grip in all scenarios, like extremely sweaty or bloody hands. That's also the basis of four stars: the rubber just isn't that grippy. It is a lot better, however, than the texture on a stock Ruger LC9S Pro and it feels good and fills my large hands better without really adding any noticeable width or bulk. Obviously the feel and grippiness are very personal observations and YMMV. The product itself fit well w/o any trimming and installed easily. Following the instructions, especially the hair dryer finish, is important. The heat treatment sort of melted or molded the grip tape into the gun and welded the seams together. The overlap where the front strap is tucked under the leading edge of the left grip panel disappeared after the hair dryer. I've carried it for a week or so and been to the range several times and everything is stuck where it should be without any noticeable wear and tear. I'll update in a few months if anything changes. Yes, I know its expensive but with the value of time factored in, it seems worth it. It would be hard to get this good a result thru any DIY efforts that didn't involve a lot of running around and time to gather materials and experimenting with what really works.

Now that's how you do customer service.
I've had this Talon Grip on my LC9 for nearly four years of daily carry. It also spends a fair amount of time locked in my truck parked in the Florida sun. It's started to peel up on an edge just a tiny bit. I could probably hit it with the heat gun and fix the problem but I decided to order a new one.Tracking stopped in Colorado. After some waiting I was pretty sure it was lost. And then tracking said it may be lost.I contacted Talon on Saturday evening and requested a refund. I received the refund Sunday morning. Now that's how you do customer service.I would have bought another grip even without the refund. This grip is amazing.I was at the range a couple of weeks ago. A friend was shooting a stock LC-9 for the first time and getting frustrated because he was all over the place.I let him try mine. The only upgrades I've done are the Talon Grip and some high visibility sights. He said it was like two completely different handguns. And his groups tightened up nicely. To be completely fair the sights probably helped more than the grip. But this grip really makes YOUR grip feel much more solid.

Get control of your cc
This is my second set of Talon grips, other is on a Gen 4 Glock 17. These are simply amazing. The LC9 grip profile is so thin and pretty smooth, hard to control in rapid fire. These grips make all the difference in the world. Much more accurate at the range and they really have a shock absorbing quality to them. They are cut to perfection, no need to trim - I've seen some comments on here and on YouTube to trim the final wrap where it comes around to meet itself; just leave your initial start loose and tuck the final underneath, the blow dryer heat and a little pressure will flatten it out nice to where you can't even see a seam. I would recommend not trimming it up as it will be close to the corner of the grip and will surely peel loose. Just follow the directions and you'll love it. They make all the difference in the world.

Nice addition
Works surprisingly well. When I opened the package, it looked like a sheet of heavy paper. I went ahead and read the directions, followed them to the letter, and whoa, it works! Quite nice. It IS thin, but it adds a nice texture to the grip and doesn't interfere with the profile at all, helps in drawing it. It looks and feels good. As you finish putting it on, the end overlaps itself slightly, but you don't notice it. After completing the "wrap around", you use a hair drier, and I guess that shrinks it slightly and stiffens the stickem to completely conform to the butt of the gun. And after several uses, it's still holding on well. Good buy!

Item is a good fit and easy to install. Provides amazing grip on pistol but that same attribute made it difficult to draw. Handgrips are so "grippy" that slipping a thumb between pistol and body is difficult and handgrips want to snag and drag on clothing. When actually shooting these are excellent.Probably better suited to a target pistol than concealed carry piece, IMHO.
